We are going to try and get to the canaries at some point this year. We haven't managed a holiday abroad in 5 years and I desperately need some sun! Not sure which island yet but I'm leaning towards Tenerife.

We are going to have a look at prices and just take the kids out of school for a week to do it.

I do miss the days of cheap last minute breaks!

@girlmeetsboy

Oh I love New Orleans, have you been before?

First time. Always wanted to go.

Its such an amazing city! I recommend getting a street car to the Garden district and having a walk around, visiting the W2 museum and cafe du Monde which is open 24/7 365 days a year for some beignets and generally eating and drinking on Bourbon Street. Are you flying direct as we had to go through Atlanta and the immigration took so long we missed the connecting flight which was a nightmare!

Not sure if you’ve already decided, but Lanzarote is great. :)
