None yet

Get booking 😉

Nothing yet. I keep browsing but it's so expensive to go abroad as we are restricted to school holidays. There are only 3 but all adult so need 2 rooms, so I may just try and find something last minute. I've never done that before but hopefully we can get a decent deal. Has anyone done that before? Is it worth hanging on?

LovelyDayz · 11/02/2023 16:27

DH and I are going to Tenerife for 4 nights all-inclusive in March, we don't usually go away without the children (now teens) but the last year has been horrible with health issues and bereavement and we really need a break. (Teens staying with a grandparent)
Family holiday in the summer, 2 weeks in an apartment right on the beach in a quiet part of Spain

Happywifehappyfamily · 11/02/2023 16:57

Feb Caribbean - with dh
April Dubai - with dh and dd
June Malta - with dh DD and my parents
August Disney cruise - with dh and dd
DD is 4 and is starting school this year. We hope to fit in another one during October half term but prices are looking very expensive at the moment.

Does anyone have any suggestions for places to go in Italy with a couple of teens? I'm thinking Rome obviously,

and I'd like to see pompei. Is sicily any good?

Florence is lovely and from there it's easy to do trips to Pisa, the Cinque Terre, Lucca, Siena, San Gimignano ect.

We did a two centre trip flying into Naples then staying at Sorrento with day trips to Vesuvius, Pompeii and Capri, then high speed train to Rome.
Have to say DS preferred Rome to Sorrento, but it all worked out well.

NB this was in October, it would be swelteringly hot in Summer.

First time. Always wanted to go.

LlynTegid · 11/02/2023 17:28

Paris for a memorial event, finally visiting the town where my dad lived as a youngster (was intending to in 2020), and visiting other family not in the UK who I have not seen for five years.
