Scary.

What an absolute bastard of a 'father'

@MintyFreshOne actually for much longer in history men would be granted sole custody of children. Women who were divorced were considered unfit mothers....

That hasn’t been the norm for over 100 years, maybe even longer.

It used to be mothers were granted custody since then as they were thought to be best suited to the role.

But joint custody is now extremely common in the US, where this ruling took place. Nothing wrong with the father giving formula to the baby; the mother can keep breastfeeding if she chooses and keep up a pumping schedule (she doesn’t need the milk to feed baby, just to keep herself producing).

I highly suspect she just didn’t want a solution at all.

No woman should be made to stop breastfeeding before she and baby are ready.

If dad was forcing her to breastfeed there'd be an uproar on here.

Why should it be up to the mother to be the solution? Why couldn't he just have more frequent, shorter visits for the next few months. Because that's literally all it would be. A few months then it's not an issue anymore. Dad's no not need overnights with infants, certainly not at the mother's expense.

If you don't think this is awful there is something wrong with you.
