I decided to do a test today and thought I was probably being stupid and getting my hopes up but there it was after over 7 years of ttc it was positive.
I have of course done another 2 tests just to be sure 😂

Eek I just needed to tell someone. Husband is on a late shift and not home for at least another hour!

Just to clarify I’m not saying that Keto is the answer to everything or that if you’re unable to get pregnant Keto will give you a pregnancy.

but saying that Keto or other diets make no difference in conceiving is utter nonsense and lack of knowledge.

you do not need a diet like keto to eat more nutrience based foods. or have a healthier lifestyle. the other sdie of keto is the foods you add in instead or carbs.its not a blanced diet at all!its the new fad. and it was never intended for those in the mainstream the keto diet was originally developed for the treatment of drug-resistant child epilepsy and was designed to be done under medical supervision.
many things can make people lose wieght, it does not mean they are healthy at all. it does not mean they are safe. it does not mean they cant be harmful in the long run.
and being on a diet. can actualy for many/most lead to more stress and unhappiness and pressure.

And no not nonsense.and deff not through lack of knowledge on the subject.if you new why it's be laughable for you to even say that.
Moone should be recommended keto.noone especially who needs a balanced diet nor who are missing vital nutrients.you don't cut out whole food groups to give people nutrients.

Clotho55 · 02/03/2023 22:38

Hang on in there, OP! The morning sickness tends to ease off by the end of the first trimester. I seem to remember being told during my first pregnancy that it was as a sign that the pregnancy has been established. Fingers crossed for you 🤞

she did have to go through a fair few meds to find what put together helped though. so dont be afraid to shout up until they get the right amount/concoction/support for it.

Thank you all. @kateandme that's a great way to look at it. I am trying to just get through each day as it comes and hope to feel better soon. And if I don't it's one less day to go

Aw OP - many many congrats!

I love threads like this, having been down the fertility treatment road myself. Hope all continues to go well.

I always remember seeing my midwife at the fertility clinic when I was first pregnant with now 15 year old DS, she asked how I was and I told her I was very sick, she replied: "Oh wonderful!" I said no, I feel terrible, and she replied: "That's what we like to hear." 😀

Beaverbridge · 17/03/2023 19:43

Awh congratulations, what a clear scan picture. 💐

kateandme · 17/03/2023 20:10

Clotho55 · 17/03/2023 20:21

Thanks for sharing your scan image; it feels even more real after the appointment! You’re almost into the second trimester. I’m keeping 🤞🤞for you and your DH.
