I decided to do a test today and thought I was probably being stupid and getting my hopes up but there it was after over 7 years of ttc it was positive.
I have of course done another 2 tests just to be sure 😂

Eek I just needed to tell someone. Husband is on a late shift and not home for at least another hour!

Wonderful news, I'm a big fan of myo inositol, regulated my periods and I fell pregnant with it too. My pal who hadn't had a period for a year started it and her period started 8 weeks later and she's been regular since.
A September baby?

Going by last period end of Sept (due on said dogs birthday haha) but think maybe ovulated a day or two late so perhaps 1st October.
Babies in my family tend to be quite early so we shall see if the same goes for ours.

Its been a rough week in our home (major health issues) but your wonderful news has just brought a tear (or 2 :) of happiness to my now rather damp eyes.

What a wonderful outcome at the end of such a long wait.

Congratulations and please come back and update us.

OMG I am SO HAPPY for you! That was me for years too and when it finally happens it’s just something else. I still keep the positive pregnancy test in my bedside table drawer. 12 years and it still shows positive and it STILL makes me so happy to look at it. Well done for never losing hope.

It's sinking in a bit more now

For those asking if I had any fertility treatment, over the years we had several appointments and hycosy. I have PCOS and my prolactin was also high so saw endocrinology too. I lost weight to start clomid and then became unwell with what is now a life long condition that unfortunately took over a year to get diagnosed so fertility clinic was all put on hold while we got that under control.

What has actually happened is I started taking myo inositol 4 weeks ago and here we are now!

Congratulations OP! Such wonderful news ❤️

I'm a big lover of myo-inositol as well, got pregnant 6 weeks after I started taking it for PCOS after 4 years of TTC, also with Hycosy and Clomid.

I'm so happy it worked for you!

Notsoivorytower · 25/01/2023 09:49

Oh my goodness I bet that was the longest 7 years! So many congratulations. I wish you the happiest, healthiest pregnancy. I bet you can't wait to tell him. How incredibly exciting 😬

Your posting made my day! I remember, long ago, finding out I was pregnant after trying for 12 years (DD now nearly 21!) post the the loss of our first baby. Just the best feeling, so happy for you!!!!

Jellybubbamama0987 · 25/01/2023 15:12

Congratulations 🥳 it took me 17 years to have my miracle and I’m so sad she’s my only one because I love being a mother. PCOS is a cruel thing to have but I’m so grateful that I have my daughter. Enjoy every moment, even the sickness and mobility issue that come later (my daughter was 10lb 7oz and 56cm long). I miss when she would move, nothing better than that feeing of butterflies and your tummy moving at odd angles lol

Badanxiety · 25/01/2023 20:01

Huge congratulations, took us 7 years on our first and he’s 12 now x x
