I’d say 45
started getting eye lids hanging over at corners

around about the same age as you - maybe a little earlier. Dark rings under eyes that were never there before - or used to clear up quickly - but are now almost full time. Jawline becoming less defined. Generally looking a bit more "pouch-y" looking!!

TokyoSushi · 23/01/2023 09:33

I'm 43, and definitely starting to look older, mainly around the eyes & neck

yumscrumfatbum · 23/01/2023 09:52

Mid forties, eyelids droopy, agespots on hands, wrinkly decolletage etc etc!

DappledThings · 23/01/2023 10:02

About now, aged 43. In a vaguely distracting way. It's kind of interesting seeing the process. Have no intention of doing anything about it or giving it any more head space than mild distraction.

Boshi · 23/01/2023 10:06

Yes I think 43, developing jowls and eyelids starting to droop very slightly. Still look young enough but if you look carefully you can see the signs

i haven’t got any wrinkles yet but the sagging is def ageing

VenusClapTrap · 23/01/2023 10:10

45 definitely. Everything went south overnight. Everything.

ScorchBeastQueen · 23/01/2023 10:11

44 skin looked less fresh?(hard to describe not wrinkley) and start of lines/wrinkles on the neck.

PrincessHoneysuckle · 23/01/2023 10:14

Last year when I turned 42.Nothing a bit of botox doesn't sort though.

CleopatrasBeautifulNose · 23/01/2023 10:20

44/45.
Until then I could kid myself on a good day I hadn't changed at all. Then, jaw line hinting at future sagging in the jowl area, eyelids sagging a bit, lines on the neck that don't go away.
Ho hum. At least I'm healthy.
My personal frustration is that due to life responsibility overload I have SO little time for self care I'm really struggling to combat the process and do what I can to care for my body as it is clearly less supple than it was now. 🙄 I really want to shed some of my load so I can give myself more time, instead it's like watching a car crash in super slow mo. 🤣

tulips27 · 23/01/2023 10:21

Just right now, I was looking through my photo reel last night and I look very noticeably older than even the beginning of last summer, unfortunately.

eurochick · 23/01/2023 10:46

Yep 45. I was doing well until then. And then my eyelids sagged, my face lost its glow and, having been slim all my life, the weight just started piling on from nowhere.

Polecat07 · 23/01/2023 10:55

30

MyBloodyMaryneedsmoreTabasco · 23/01/2023 11:01
  1. My neck is like it's in its own separate postcode, it's ageing at a different rate to the rest of me.
lobsterkiller · 23/01/2023 11:03

I'd probably say 48, I'm now 51. The weight piled on, wrinkles around the eyes. Started with a wrinkly neck.

I'm now 51, I get a little bit of botox to freshen me up, lost the weight and wear a scarf for the neck! 😂

tulips27 · 23/01/2023 11:08

Yesterday was upsetting, it was clear and sunny here and I went for a walk. Opened the front camera to take a selfie and had a shock- my foundation had sunk into all the lines on my face and really showed how old I am looking. I think I actually look better without make-up these days.

Sadik · 23/01/2023 11:11

Menopause for me - so this last year or so (I'm 53). I reckon I looked better in my 40s than 30s as older DC meant I had time for regular exercise, could afford proper hairdresser etc.

I am healthy & have lots of energy though which is the big thing really isn't it 🙂 so feel very fortunate.

Bibbitybobbityboot · 23/01/2023 11:13

For me it was 45. Eyelids started sagging, skin lost its glow, hands looking haggard. At 40 I still looked 30, by 45 I looked my age...quite rapid aging. I had a baby at 42 and the lack of sleep did not help.

Dinneronmybfpillow · 23/01/2023 11:14

35.... although that has coincided with having twins and having the house torn apart during the maternity leave to do an extension 😆

ChangedmynameagainforChristmas · 23/01/2023 11:17

Blimey ! When I was 45 I was in my prime. I am 68 this year and sometimes I don't even recognise myself when I look in the mirror. I think it was when I stopped dyeing my hair that I realised I am not a catch anymore 😚

ErrolTheDragon · 23/01/2023 11:19

50s - menopause is likely to make a significant difference.

OpportunityKnockss · 23/01/2023 11:21

51, before that I didn’t look
young but still felt really pretty.

AngelsWithSilverWings · 23/01/2023 11:43

Over the last year I have found find myself not liking photos of me.

I'm 53 this year and going through menopause now. Even on my 50th birthday I still looked like "me" - I don't anymore but I've been though more stress in the past year than I've ever had in my life and I think it shows on my face.

I'm not bothering with Botox and the like.

TulipCat · 23/01/2023 11:45

46, my neck and jawline started looking saggy on Zoom calls, plus the arrival of the menopause tummy.

AmberGer · 23/01/2023 11:47

Early - mid forties

BooCrew · 23/01/2023 11:54

Covid lockdown with a one year old really did a number on me, so 38 - there's a massive difference looking at photos of me on mat leave in 2019 compared to 2021.

I'm really trying now to look after myself better and undo some of the damage, but I think this is just what I look like now and it will only get worse as I enter my mid-40s and peri. Oh well! I had a good run 😂
