I'm working on more comfort in my life but so far.....

My cat
(not my dogs as they are too demanding).
Turkish soap (the kind they use in a hammam) I bulk ordered after I returned from Turkey.
Thick carpet on the stairs and bedroom. Was there when I moved in.
White socks
My electric automatic car
Travelling
Organic coffee

@Itsokay2020 Agree that a good, cosy local pub is one of the very best things in life!

Lovely thread! I’ve enjoyed reading these.

Here it’s:

Emma Bridgewater mugs ( make me smile every morning)
My blue le Creuset cafetière
Diptyque candles and incense sticks
L’Occitaine almond bath soak
Cashmere bedsocks
Toast pyjamas

LitralViolins · 07/01/2023 22:22

Beautiful wool sofa blankets for chilly nights
My fake oodie - not beautiful but so cosy
Silk pillowcases
A super-king bed and separate duvets for dh and me
Good knives
Rose and violet creams from Rococo or Fortnum's
My gorgeous scarlet leather card case from Smythson - don't really carry a purse these days and can just slip this into a coat pocket instead
Diptyque or Tauer perfumes

A little bit of luxury makes the day brighter!

IcakethereforeIam · 07/01/2023 22:23

@Itsokay2020 regarding the potato ricer, I hope you know you don't need to peel the spuds. It gets left behind when you rice it. And, if the holes are big enough, you can use the ricer to make spaetzl.

Yeah, I'm adding ricer to my list.
Seeing birds on my bird feeders.

AngelinaFibres · 07/01/2023 22:23

My woodburner.
Lovely bedding. Especially when it's newly clean.
Electric blanket.
Cafetiere of coffee and radio 4 today programme at breakfast time.
My beautiful roll top both with Badedas bubble bath.
John Lewis pyjamas and a lovely fluffy dressing gown.
A tidy house and garden.

Diversion · 07/01/2023 22:26

I am not one for lots of beauty treatments, fancy makeup, clothes or toiletries but take great pleasure in knowing that my fridge, cupboards and freezer are full and that my oil tank and wood shed are full.

familyissues12345 · 07/01/2023 22:27

I'm a creature of comfort, so a lovely hot bath watching something on my phone or listening to a podcast, followed by my favourite PJ's (freshly washed), slippers and Oodie. That's me at my happiest!

Fresh cut flowers in a vase - I only ever buy the ones that are £3.50 but the roses and tulips are just gorgeous.

The fact my husband has gadgets and solutions for everything and means my life is easy in so many ways!

My faux fur hot water bottle and my soft fleecy throw. I also bought a lovely soft Hush dressing gown a couple of years ago and love that it just waits for me to need it on a cold day!

My oxo veg peeler, absolute game changer. Also, my dishwasher and utility room.

Spotify. Best £10 a month I spend!

I have the hush dressing gown too, in pale blue. It's soooooo fabulous. Cosy and warm and looks lovely.

Lovely looseleaf Earl grey with loads of lemon in
