Download The English. It's the best western/love story ever (apart from Last Of The Mohicans) set over six episodes, with the perfect Emily Blunt. Just finished it and cried my eyes out.

I'm watching 'The Last Leg' on C4 but once that finishes I'll be off to bed. Can't remember the last time I bothered to stay up for midnight to strike on New Year's Eve.

Match of the fucking Day upcoming. On New Year's Eve FFS. Should be illegal. I usually send DH to bed early, so that I can do NYE as a solo project. Got the DC here this year, which is fine, but DH is the Anti-Hogmanay.

I never stay up, I usually go to bed about 10 and hope fireworks don't wake me, another year nearer death, nothing to get excited about

• Run though the year - current affairs, gossipy stuff and those who died.
• Count in midnight.
• Yeah!

The Full Monty is so bitter sweet and it’s interesting seeing people like Mark Addy and Lesley Sharp and Hugo Speer early in their careers. Just waiting for the job centre scene.

I just watched an Italian murder mystery on Netflix, 7 women and a murder. Which was much better than anything on the beeb.I watched it in Italian with English subtitles rather than the dubbed version.

We're at MIL's and she put the Prince Andrew musical on. It was... not as awful as I was expecting.

No, we planned ahead and downloaded three epic movies. money Train Poseidon Adventure and towering Inferno. Lying under blankets with champagne. So beautiful 😍 cept he's gone for a fag I the pouring rain.
