Does anyone else NOT have their Christmas trees and decorations up?

It’s literally a week before Christmas and I still don’t have any trees, decorations or lights up yet. I don’t think I’ve ever been as late as this!

I think life has just got in the way a little, I’ve been busy, tired and just haven’t been bothered!

anyone else? I do want to put mine up though, I’m going to have to make the effort to do it this weekend or early-mid next week at the latest!

It’s a bit late for me tbh, but I haven’t had chance to get into the loft to get all the decs down. I’ll be doing it tomorrow.

We haven't bothered with a tree or decorations for a few years now. The house is small and we just can't be bothered.

Ours is going up tomorrow, when dd gets back from university.

Dh and I chose it last weekend, with dd in FaceTime, at the Christmas tree farm. It was delivered in Monday and has been in the garage to dry off (was snowy when we got it) since.

I did mine tonoght. I haven't even bought a present yet and I have 12 people staying over Xmas I really need to shift my arse!

I foolishly decided to rearrange the rooms downstairs and redecorate before Christmas, it's taking ages hoping to get done before the middle of the week, then will put the tree up.

Nothing at all in our house yet. Might get a few Christmas decorations out of the loft in the next few days, but we won't bothering with a tree this year. Too much of a faff.

I've also not been this late but although I do like it up two weeks before I think it will be nice to have it this late for a change!

It does have a more concentrated impact.....I'm hoping to get going tomorrow

Re deckers up and down, I don't understand why people are so ruled in their home's by other people's rules?
I've been known to keep mine up for ages after Xmas and it gets a miss havisham look about it.

I have been ill with a flu type virus and am just starting to feel better, we are putting them up on Sunday when DS and his GF are here, she loves Christmas and will enjoy it.

We always put ours up on Christmas Eve , used to wait until 12th Night to take them down but nowadays it’s usually New Years Day .

Putting ours up today (Saturday) we had decorating being done that got put back due to the snow feels so late almost like we've missed the boat

It's still too early for me to do decorations. I might put the tree up on Sunday, but a few days before Christmas is more usual. I'm not doing cards this year, I hate doing them and they stress me out so I've decided not to.

Same here - even if I felt inclined it would be down in minutes.

Ours will be up by Sunday. Christmas Eve would be preferable but we're away by then usually.

There was still loads of choice in my local b&q in all sizes yesterday though as they are now 50% off I imagine will start to go.
