Sides of the bed

I know most people who share a bed have "their side".

My question is, if you find yourself on your own in your bed, do you still just stay in your side?
And if you visit somewhere (hotel, friends...) alone and have a double bed, do you still sleep on the same side as normal.
Or do you go wild and sleep in the middle? 😆

Just my dh has been away for a few nights and I have not budged from my side.
And I stayed in a hotel alone recently, massive bed, luxurious. And I still stayed on my side 🙄😁

My side. Anywhere I sleep, whether he's there or not. I always slept on my side even before we met and he always slept on his side.

At home we have our sides as have our bedsides with what we need.

But when staying away from home DH goes whichever side is closer to the door.

It's nice to swap side sometimes so we're kissing (& other things) the other way around if that makes sense?

I only EVER sleep on 'my' side of course

Last night, on my own in our bed. Woken up this morning and dh's side is completely unruffled. In fact the duvet is still tucked under the pillows at the top.

I lived in 6 different houses by myself and there was no consistent pattern to which side of the bed I ended up adopting - it was usually furthest from the door, but not always.

Now I live with a partner who has extremely strong feelings on the matter (it even applied to where we put the air beds in the tent), the decision is made for me

Always on the left even if DH is away. Feels weird to sleep on the other side.

You change sides every few weeks?!

This is madness.

Next you'll be saying you don't have set seats at the dining table.
