M&S Sparks 12 Days of Christmas

So today is the first day of the M&S 12 Days of Christmas Advent rewards on the app.
What have you got?
I've got a free M&S Tea Light Up Lantern - looks lovely but I don't drink tea. But it is free... tricky! It does say I have 11 days to use though, which is good.

I actually like their truffles so hopefully I get the £1 off at some stage? Although they really don't seem to give us things we like and will use.

Seriously, though, I'm considering getting rid of my Sparks card. The offers are routinely shit (I don't just mean the Christmas countdown but all year). If they want my data, I want something good in return! Nectar, Boots and Superdrug literally give you money off.

Plus I hate the way you have to log on and check your offers. I've got enough flipping home admin to do as it is!

I agree. They are terrible. Sparks card was only recently introduced to Ireland. It's clunky to use, the offers are usually completely useless, but you're still expected to scan the card or you won't get any offers at all.

In the M&S I use there's almost no phone coverage; they have wifi that never works, and even with the Sparks card in my Apple wallet it often doesn't register the offers.

It’s actually quite funny how shit the whole marketing exercise is. Can you imagine how much they spent to develop the advent calendar functionality 😆

You prompted me to check my JL rewards and there was a gift of £5 off anything over £5 on there, also a couple of other money off that I may use, no coffee and cake unfortunately though
