M&S Sparks 12 Days of Christmas

So today is the first day of the M&S 12 Days of Christmas Advent rewards on the app.
What have you got?
I've got a free M&S Tea Light Up Lantern - looks lovely but I don't drink tea. But it is free... tricky! It does say I have 11 days to use though, which is good.

Yeah they should have just offered nothing. Nothing wasn't actively pissing me off the way 15% off flowers or £1 off a lantern is Grin

At the end of the day it’s not an onerous task clicking a button online and I’ve had the tea lantern free ( and I got free Percy or Colin’s in my normal Sparks offers yesterday) so I’m not that fussed about it being money off items . I’m hoping for a 20% off furniture as there are some side tables I want .

No, it's not onerous but it's also not terribly rewarding when all you get is multiple vouchers you won't use.

I had a message today telling me I was too late for yesterday’s offer, but I wasn’t and I had opened it! So I hope this won’t stop me getting the extra for opening all 12!!It was money off shortbread today and 20% off decorations yesterday.

Finally got a freebie.

Light up tea lantern.

I am completely underwhelmed. I don't drink ordinary tea. I go for green generally so I won't use them. Dh and DS2 only drink Barrys and ds1 and dd only drink coffee.

Ah well, my mother will take it off me. That's assuming they have any in stock as I won't be in town until friday. If it was something decent, I'd take a detour when I'm in the office on tuesday.

I would absolutely love that!! Better than the free bottles of gin people were getting last week!

I went to collect my hand cream from Day 1 today. I couldn’t see any in the Beauty or Gifts section, so I asked an assistant.

They were all in a box behind the till. There was a choice of several fragrance mixtures, with testers to help me choose.

Seems a good plan, saving them for people as Advent freebies rather than putting them on general sale.

I’m not 100% sure, but I think I was able to add Day 3’s offer (Tonies) to my card on Day 4. (20% off kitchenware - the picture shows a festive table setting, and the small print says all kitchenware and tableware is included.)

Samsung offer here too. I clicked it by accident and it's only valid on 5 Samsung products.

What's the point in that? Statistically the odds of anyone needing one of those specific 5 items this close to Christmas must be minuscule.
