M&S Sparks 12 Days of Christmas

So today is the first day of the M&S 12 Days of Christmas Advent rewards on the app.
What have you got?
I've got a free M&S Tea Light Up Lantern - looks lovely but I don't drink tea. But it is free... tricky! It does say I have 11 days to use though, which is good.

Day 1 free hand cream - couldn’t find any in store
day 2 15% off hand cooked crisps
day 3 32% off tonies, no idea what they are
day 4 20% off Christmas decorations

im really hoping for a free bottle of Prosecco or at least the gin that I can give as a present.🤞

I collected my mums by logging in to her account on my sparks app
In the end only her item was in stock. I would have gone to two different tills if necessary

20% off decorations today. Did manage to pick up my free chocolate footballs from day one today and there were still plenty left. It's the only offer I've been able to make use of so far

20% off knitwear for me.

If I need a jumper, I will wait for the post Christmas sales at this point!

Went to M&S today to claim my free shortbread and 20% off Prosecco. They didn’t have any of either item available 😔

I went to collect my free hand cream and they don’t sell any of that brand of hand cream in our nearest branch which is a big M&S.
So waste of time as they also don’t sell it online 🤷🏻‍♀️

They had loads of the light up gin and shortbread tins though.

20% off kitchenware for me today, don't think I need anything.

Day 1 mince pies…. Then it’s been 15/20% off 🙄

I like florentines. At this stage, I'd settle for them as the only freebie.

Rather annoyingly DH and both DC signed up on the day for the app and have had a free bag of chocolate coins each on Day 1. Me, as a loyal M&S customer got a "free" hand cream but not the one that is stocked in any of the M&S stores near me - so effectively my loyalty was rewarded with nothing. Since then they all got money off a shortbread lantern - which is potentially useful as a present, 15% of knitwear and the tomy. I got 20% off prosecco (where's my free bottle?), 20% off decorations (which my local M&S doesn't sell) and an entry in a prize draw. Really unimpressed.

My DH uses a screenshot of my sparks card all the time with no problems - definitely worth a try! (He has an M&S food near his work)

Haha I’m starting to suspect my day one freebie (that they didn’t even have in stock) might have been the high point…

They want to get rid of their shortbread lanterns for sure ..me as well .

My Day 1 freebie was a bag of satsumas - I'm going to M&S tomorrow to collect a shopping order and I am going to attempt to get the satsumas... I bet they won't have any!!!
