I did a bodge job, I sanded them down and painted them with plain old emulsion paint (Dulux Timeless) as the other two walls are painted that colour, and then matt varnished the tops.

Ha, couldn't afford to replace them and they didn't look so orange when they used to stand up against the walls when they were purple but then changed the paint to duck egg blue and suddenly they looked very orange, but I love them now, they are not to everyones taste but they are good solid drawers and my tiny bungalow has no cupboards or storage at all, not even an airing cupboard so need lots of drawers for bedding and towels and the husbands clothes.

They look fantastic, great transformation. Where did you get the knobs from - was it These Please?

I like your room OP. I am not always a fan of grey but when it is teamed with wooden floors etc it warms the space up and stylish.

Here's mine, I'm just about to get into my bed.

I'm not ashamed of my messiness. I'm pretty certain I have ADHD so am and dreadful procrastinator and crap at getting rid of my clothes to make room for DH's clothes as his are in boxes by the bed, so they need to be moved at some point. He was in the bedroom next door as he snores very loudly until my DD moved into it before she started high school this year.

My matching pillow cases aren't on as I'm too busy most days to iron them and actually put them on. But I'm proud of this bed, the one in which two of three children were made, I suffered a horrible mental breakdown and waa very ill 7 years ago after my head injury, and I had it in my first flat that I was so proud to buy via shared ownership 11 years ago.

My bedroom isn't perfect and the curtains need replacing/whole room needs dusting properly/it needs totally reorganising... but it is my sanctuary and I live with pride in it.💖
