Help me change my name please

For a long time, I've wanted to change my first name for various family reasons.

My name is Karen but I can't think of anything I like that is linked even in a small way. It can't be Kate as have two in the family already.

Oh and it's not because of the current connotation within the name!

I don't think a Lara and a Kara is a problem. Ask the Lara if you are worried.

My name is similar to family members and it’s not an issue.

I do like pp suggestion of Karla and Karly though.

It’s a form of Katherine so maybe that nn Kit, or Catrin, Caitlin, Catriona / Katrina… there are lots more if you Google

Carmen is beautiful.
Unsure whether Karmen is an ok spelling or completely ridiculous.

Ren/Wren is what I immediately thought of and Cara is beautiful too but understand you’d like to stay with K initial if possible so Kara is completely plausible also!

@KylieCharlene Karmen with a K is perfectly acceptable in Central Europe. I’ve got a Croatian friend called Karmen.

There's a song called Carina - I think if you're changing your name you can spell your new one any way you like. Karina would work well.
