Help! Fb messenger isn’t showing marketplace messages??

I’ve been selling stuff on fb marketplace. All of a sudden yesterday, my messages from marketplace just disappeared from messenger. All other messages on messenger off my contacts are still there, but the marketplace ones are blank.
Any ideas please? I read something which said I might have archived them by mistake, but it doesn’t look like that. I don’t know what to try.

Mine does this too, it's really annoying. Try searching for a word / name you know is in the message and you might find it that way. I think marketplace messages are in a different 'inbox'.

Thanks. The problem is they’re messages off people who want to buy my listings, but I don’t know who they are to search them 🤦🏻‍♀️ I’ve tried searching the item name but nothing comes up. The icon next to the marketplace messages just went blank yesterday afternoon and it’s empty despite having had lots of messages yesterday 😭
I’ve edited the items I’m selling to say please pm me not through marketplace, but I’ve had another ping through that’s not showing 😭

Oh it’s just magically come back all by itself! I don’t want to close it now in case it disappears again 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I couldn’t find mine either yesterday! Maybe messenger had a blip? Off to check mine to see if they are back.

Mine was playing up earlier I had to open them via marketplace.

Mine is currently doing this, but you can access the messages through marketplace instead of messenger.

Mine is doing it too. If I go to the listing of an item I’m hoping to buy it gives me an option of “open chat” instead of “message seller”. Really irritating!

I’ve got the same/similar problem. When I go on to messenger and click on the marketplace option to see my messages it says ‘No messages, new messages will appear here’. Except I know there are new messages, because I’ve had notifications to say there are new messages. I can open them from the fb site, but that’s really not as easy to do.

Mine are not coming back I just don’t know what to do .. 3 days .. I blocked a dodgy guy and hit report now they’ve all gone I’ve googled but it says bring him out of archive I can’t as he’s gone due to my reporting

Mine are the same and since yesterday. So annoying - says the same that no messages there, but still showing as an unread message.

If you go into marketplace there is an inbox, I can view my messages there.

Mine did this. So I uninstalled and reinstalled it yesterday and they came back

Mine are doing this too and I have to get to them through marketplace on the Facebook app. So annoying.

Mine did this too- I was en route to a guys house and couldn't see his address!

I deleted the app and re installed. It solved the problem

Will you lose all your dale posts if you uninstall? And reinstall 😳

Uninstall and then reinstall. That's what I had to do yesterday, and you don't lose anything like previous messages etc
It all came back as normal

Mine have all been gone for days. I can see them in Facebook though. Go to marketplace within Facebook and my listings and there’s an option to see inbox there
