Do you wash your clothes straight away if you have worn them to the dentist/doctor/restaurant?

It never occurred to me before the pandemic to do that but I am more aware of germs these days and I have also read on here about people not allowing ‘outdoor clothes’ on the bed which again would not have been on my radar. I would normally wear clothes again if they looked clean.

What do you do if the clothes are clean? Rewear them or wash them straight away?

As far as I know, the germs don't pass through cloths. To be on the safe side, you can put them in sunshine. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. 🙂

Maybe it is a generational thing. I do a lot of gardening and don't change when I get in, even if covered in mud, just brush it off. If a small pork pie is dropped on the kitchen floor, sigh, pick it up, blow on it, eat. Be careful with chocolate though.... sometimes cat grindles can be mistaken for a chocolate chip 😱

Oh, and my house is white and cream. White walls and sofas, cream carpets.

I'm wondering if this is particular to a certain age group. I'm old and nobody I know is obsessed with germs.

We are all shoes on in the house, cats and dogs in the house, no indoor/outdoor clothes type people.

Agree! I worked for a company who manufactured sterile everything, floors, Tupperware, baby highchairs etc. I only lasted about 2 months, I kept wanting to yell at them that they were all bloody bonkers, couldn't get on board with their ethos one jot! Certain amount of germs are healthy for us, sterile environment, really not so.

You really don't need to blow on that pork pie you know, very unnecessary! 🤣
