Hi,
Just ordered the 2nd pair of school shoes for this year (Since September 7th) he also had 4 pairs last year. His feet seem to grow quicker than the rest of him and he’s already a 10.5.

He also wears them out so quickly, playing football at break and lunch just generally shoving his feet it to them without undoing laces (which I constantly moan at him about)

At £60/£70 a time I’m starting to think is it really worth buying Clarkes shoes?? When are his feet likely to stop growing?

My Ds is 11.5 and in size 9.5 and 5ft 7. Bought him 2 pairs of runners and new Gaelic boots in September. I hope they last me awhile. Got him a men's size small coat was too short in the arms 🙈had to buy a medium.

My DS is 13. His feet are a 2. So far I've been getting him a pair of school shoes a year. I would have stepped away from Clarkes if he was going through umpteen pairs.

My DD is really hard on shoes, using them as brakes when riding her bike etc. I don't get her Clarkes any more as she has them worn through in no time.

My just 14 year old DS is just growing out of his size 12's and is 6ft 4. He's the same and goes through shoes like they are made of cardboard or something. For not school shoes Vans are definitely the longest lasting.

He’s only 5’4 at the moment so I’ve got a feeling he’s going to shoot up soon! Both DD are tall with quite big feet but I never remember their feet growing at the speed DS are!
I can always remember my mum saying to my brother (6’6 with size 15 feet) “I’m not buying any more shoes, you’ll have to wear the boxes!”

I can see why now!!

Sounds like me. I'm 6'6 and a UK size 16 feet.
