Least favourite household task...

Mine has got to be anything food related - particularly meal planning, shopping and cooking. I despise it! I'm a good cook but my god do I hate it. Unfortunately DH also hates it as well and I find splitting it very difficult - if DH plans I have no idea what recipe he's using (I have all my recipes in my head) and if I plan, I also have to shop and then DH has no idea how to cook it unless I write it down or use a recipe book to plan and shop, which takes even longer!

All other jobs I'm fairly happy to do and get a sense of satisfaction from. But not the food shopping 🙄

What is yours and why? And any tips for making it more bearable?

1. Getting to the end of a long day and realising I still need to put new sheets on the beds.
2. Spending ages lovingly cooking something nutritious and the kids carrying on like I'm trying to poison them.

This is going to sound absolutely ridiculous, but we hadn't thought of that! I promise you I'm a fairly intelligent person normally 😜

Ironing, I hate. But I don't do it, so it's not an issue. I have only one or two pieces of clothing that requires it, they are rarely worn!

Cleaning

I don't mind ironing.

Hoovering, though it's a lot less shit with a cordless vacuum cleaner - the whole faff moving the cord around, and it coming out of the socket or knocking something over, drives me crazy.
Changing beds
Cleaning windows.
