Bf doesn't see his 9 kids from a previous marriage but he's desperate to start a family with me, AIBU to come off the pill (his ex is probably crazy and shat in his shoe or something)

Woman, you need a make that uterus as tight as Fort Knox and get some therapy if you're thinking that man would be a good father

For me it's the my mum/mil gave my baby a chocolate button.

On questioning the 'baby' is 2. Honestly, unless they have allergies, don't sweat it. Come primary school they'll be mainlining haribo with the rest of them.

How old do you think I am in this photo?

You are a wrinkled crone and a lot older than you were hoping everyone would say.

Or 'Well look whose grandchild just showed them the beauty filters available on their phone!!'

😂'

AIBU to promote this extreme left wing view ( with added swearing) . All posters vehemently agree. Poll : 70% yes you are (and you are boring.)

see also : ‘ it is totally unacceptable that my child who hits and bites other children in his class is being given a detention,/ summoned before the head/ threatened with exclusion’

'So I'm thinking of buying a battery pack in case of the occasional power outage this winter, as I run my business from home and really need to be prepared as much as possible to complete important pieces of work. Any recommedations?'

Stop scaremongering you hysterical panic-buying loon, it's people like you that crash the economy [ad nauseam]

An elderly lady fell over in front of me. WIBU to help her up and check she was OK?

(Hoping for hundreds of 'You sound like a lovely person, OP')

I like to imagine the scene unfolding in front of the person. Then, rather than talking to the woman and helping her, the OP opts to poll AIBU first. All those ‘aren’t you just so wonderful?’ comment while an elderly lady lies on the ground.

Like life is one of those work training things where they stop the scenario and ask you to pick the right course of action from a multiple choice list.

IRL trying to help old ladies who fall over can be tricky. Last winter I was walking up an icy footpath, and I heard someone fall behind me. It was an elderly lady, quite a way back down the slope. I set off back down the hill to help her, started skidding on the ice, and crash landed into her at speed. That did not help the situation at all!!

I’m not sure an AIBU thread would be more
useful in the moment either.

What can I buy for my friend, mother, uncle, neighbour, pet sitter? Or what do teachers like?

We don't know your friend, mother etc. Also, all teachers are different. But they probably don't need 'best teacher' keepsakes and they don't all drink or eat 17 boxes of chocolates.

Er... We totally eat the chocolate and drink the wine.

LavenderfortheBees · 18/10/2022 16:05

OP: Is this a fair split on finances?

No, he is a cocklodger.

Don't you mean 'lent?'

Joystir59 · 18/10/2022 16:34

How old do you think the person that drew this picture? Wanting everyone to say 29 yes, and then disappointed when most responses are '5 yrs?' Or in that region

bbnotwo · 18/10/2022 16:41

"My arm is hanging off, i've got a temperature of 42 degrees and I feel like I'm dying.. should I go to A&E?"

Yes, OP go now.

"I absolutely can't go as my kids are home, ex H, MIL, mum and neighbours all refusing to help out at all, say there is nothing wrong with me"

every single time.
