How long is it when you next get it cut?

About 4 times a year but I get it blow dried a lot

Two or three times a year, I do get it styled if I'm going somewhere worth it. My hair is long and low maintenance in terms of cutting.

Never. I trim off my own split ends. My hair doesn't naturally grow very long, so it stays at the same length by itself.

Depends on the style, tbh.

when it was short, it was every 4 to 5 weeks.

At the moment I am growing my grey out (my hair is to my shoulders) so only having a trim when it’s looking untidy. Had it cut in august and planning another for December.

then probably leave it til my birthday in April and have go back short which will cut the colour out and leave me with just grey. Then grow it again.

Probably every 3-4 months. In my lounge, by my son who is not a hairdresser. But he can cut a straight line.

Twice a year if I'm lucky. My mum usually treats me as a birthday and Christmas present.

It's naturally curly (Type 3B/C ringlets), so I just get it trimmed to stop the ends looking ratty.

@pocketvenuss sorry, I missed this yesterday. I reckon my hair grows about 3 inches in 6 months, so not too much really. It’s the layers that bug me most because my hair becomes quite heavy and lank when they are too long.

No it doesn’t people’s hair grows at different rates and can be affected by loads of factors like genetics, age etc

No it doesn’t really vary. It’s science. It’s cells reproducing.

Haven’t been to a salon in about a decade because I have lots of cysts on my scalp I’m really embarrassed about 😬😬 anyone any thoughts on that? So chop my own whenever I feel like it - would like a nice proper cut but now I’ve been cutting it myself so long a hairdresser would be able to tell and tut at me?

I have my colour done every five weeks, I have my balayage refreshed every ten weeks with a root regrowth appointment in between. I have the ends trimmed at most appointments but occasionally my hairdresser will decide it doesn’t need it at that time.
