Help with this forgotten shampoo brand please

This is driving me nuts
Back 20 odd years ago I used this shampoo and conditioner but can't for the life of me remember what it was and I have a feeling it may of been discontinued as haven't seen it for ages, was thinking of using it again but can't find it.

All I can remember was it was a green bottle and didn't have a fruity smell.

Oh I can still smell it. I loved Flex, such an unusual smell and such a rich formula

No smell on earth like it, I miss it so much!

Loved organics. Last sighting of it was when I found about 10 bottles in a 99p shop in 2005 and bought them all.

I used to love Henara, then they changed the event and then they discontinued it because they're bastards.

Scent. Not event.

We still get Flex and Organics. The organics is in a huge bottle like Tresemme.

Try the South African shop, you may get them there if not in your usual shops.

I used to love Timotei, V05 and Alberto Balsam. Sadly all missing from shelves now.

There isn't one near me but I will definitely check next time I'm in a decent sized city - thank you :)

I knew it would be Organics. It had a really nice smell and was everywhere for about 10 years from the mid 90s, then just disappeared. I always wondered why as it was so popular.

Didn’t organically become Organix and then OGX, those little round bottles that impossible to squeeze?

I used to love Organics. I always wondered if it was barred from sale because it isn't even slightly organic?

Loved Organics. I think when I was buying them they were slightly lighter green bottles. Really suited my hair.

I was remembering a hair rinse from years before this (late 70s?) - and I can't remember what it was, except it came in small glass bottles and smelt like lavender or a sweet vinegar somehow. You poured the rinse through your hair after you'd washed it and it left you smelling amazing...for days!

Anyone any ideas? I doubt you can get it now, but it was lovely...

have just looked up all those bottles @DWMoosmum and sadly it's not any of them. I think it was a cider vinegar rinse, and the bottle was a bit like an old apothecary's bottle, quite small with a screw top with a paper seal over it...mad what you remember. but it made my hair so silky and as I've said, the smell was soooo good! I think it was part of a range, with a shampoo as well...

OMG me too. When I first bought it I thought it smelled amazing. The conditioner would not wash out though. It was awful. I had to wash it 3 times with fairy liquid before it felt normal again.

this was such a problem that the anne Robinson Watchdog programme did a feature on how many fructis users had complained about it ruining their hair! Weirdly I was thinking about that a few days ago and I have no idea why

Yep, made my hair sticky like I'd washed it in orange juice or something and it would not wash out, my hair was weird for days

I loved Salon Selsctives! The variety I liked smelled of apples. It was lovely.

@Allthingsbrightandbeautifulx I remember my friend and I getting ready to go clubbing and using the conditioner, it left a greasy sheen on our hair so we had to go through the rigamarole of rewashing 😳 When I think about all those guys we could have been mingling with 🤣

You can still buy Alberto balsam. Quid a bottle.

I used to love the salon brand shampoos in M&S that smelt of almonds, late 80s
