I just love a ring thread!
My DP and I got married last month, and I'm waiting for my wedding ring to come back from the jewellers as it was a little too big.

Whilst I'm waiting (and missing it!!) I'd love to see yours!

Not an engagement or wedding ring,this ring contains some of my sons ashes,he passed away from Cancer age 22 last November and so it feels right to wear it on the finger connected to my heart ❤️.

This is such a lovely thread , but yours is the loveliest ring here, so precious x

My engagement ring, not to a lot of peoples taste I’m sure but perfect for me. It’s by a place called sapphire studios that does alot of quirky and gothic style rings. I suffer from flare ups of dermatitis on my hands so don’t actually wear it every day which is a shame although they are doing ok at the moment.

I have such ring envy...
Here are mine: twisted gold wire was my first ever gift from OH, in the middle a wedding ring of my grandmother, bottom is a ruby & diamond chip ring I bought with a small inheritance from her as a memento. Solitaire was a gift to myself for my 60th, bought with inheritance from my DF to remember him. Slim wedding ring from DH (same one!) for my 60th. Eternity ring was from DH for our silver wedding.
Right hand has my original wedding ring, a pearl and white sapphire, for my 30th wedding anniversary, and emeralds for my 40th wedding (my green 'rubies'), and a sapphire for my 50th birthday. Only the third finger left hand ones are worn regularly.

Beautiful, shape and colour. I love your T-Rex username too, Get It On ear worm now!

The emerald is my engagement ring and the diamond DH bought for me one day out of the blue when I was pregnant with DD2. It is extra special in some ways as he wanted me to have something to acknowledge what I had been through losing a much wanted second pregnancy and my strength - his words- in insisting on going again two months later and mentally surging those first twelve weeks. I alternate them these days and live them both.

I bought a ring in Cyprus 32 years ago. Was gutted when I lost it. Because of this thread I had another Google search and found it. I was told that the three golds represented something. I'm so happy

How do people tend to clean their rings? I saw mention of gin upthread?!

I have diamonds and platinum and tend to just do washing up liquid in a shot glass…

Jewellery cleaning. I use an ultrasonic jewellery cleaner great for fine and costume jewellery. You can clean your glasses too. Loads on Amazon. Christmas present years ago

Mine is a bit different. I'm a woman married to a woman... ours are white gold and diamond and when you put them together they have a message running around them. So they were made as one and then cut in to two!
