The Room surely has to be the worst movie ever....

Howard the Duck...

There is a Johnny Depp one too, damn the name has escaped me, it's probably wiped from my memory for a good reason.

Is the Johnny Depp one Dark Shadows or something? If it is I agree it's best forgotten😀

Cry Baby. That is the Johnny Depp one.

He sings in it too......

Ah yes not great is it ?

longtompot · 30/09/2022 15:57

Betrayal of the Dove I think it was, from the early 90s. But then Noah took over

Kindofcrunchy · 30/09/2022 16:01

Dark shadows urgh
Donnie darko
Most films with Ben stiller apart from tropic thunder which is a masterpiece.

No one has said Open Water yet. Literally nothing happens. Dull.

In defence of Open Water it was based on a true story which I think knowing that makes it seem so much more tense. I found it horrifying thinking ‘that really happened’.

Worse big budget films for me:
Black Swan pretentious twaddle
Blade Runner 2049
Mad Max Fury Road
Dune. Miscast and boring

Sungodess · 30/09/2022 17:17

I love Tropic Thunder! Wouldn’t get made today 😆

caroleanboneparte · 30/09/2022 17:30

Triangle, Melissa George horror, there's a reason no ones seen it!
True Lies so cringeworthy
Forever Young dull dull dull even more so now Mel Gibson has shown his true colours
The Piano boring
I saw one of the saw films, don't know which and don't care. Awful.
Tallegeda Nights how do these things get made??
The virgin suicides was very disappointing
LOTR I just don't get it

cooolio · 30/09/2022 18:01

I can't believe more than one person said Natural Born Killers!

And I believe that everyone should watch I, Daniel Blake.

Girl on a Train was the biggest snooze fest ever

pompomdaisy · 30/09/2022 18:12

Big sticking rich smug Asians - or something like that! Hated it. Hated everything about it.

Turtles4543 · 30/09/2022 18:13

The family stone

I can't remember what mine is actually called - I know it felt like about 3 hours long even though it was under 2, it's got multiple storylines including one where it jumps to Spain(?) for a bit and there are subtitles, and I think it's about love? I saw it in the cinema and was sat there like what the fuck is this. It was about 2017ish. Did anyone else see this?

The Fountain? Hugh Jackman, Penelope Cruz, conquistadors and a weird tree.

That's the worst film I've ever seen. It's dreadful, I'm never going to get those hours of my life back.

Chikapu · 30/09/2022 18:27

I like a lot of the films people hate 😂

MurderAtTheBeautyPageant · 30/09/2022 18:32

all Darren Aronofsky films (Black Swan, The Fountain) are tiresome wank. I like the Clint Mansell scores though.

1245J · 30/09/2022 18:39

Any film with a fantasy action hero fighting crime in an urban setting.

ParentallyUnprepared · 30/09/2022 18:45

Mad Max Fury Road.

isthismylifenow · 30/09/2022 18:55

Can I add in a 3 of the 50 shades films.

I only watched them recently and wtf were those endings all about. I was waiting for the next scene and the names came up.

But it wasn't just the endings that were dire.

Mouldyfoodhelp · 30/09/2022 18:57

Little Jo

ParentallyUnprepared · 30/09/2022 18:57

Or that puppet police film. I forget the name.

Or pretty much anything with Sasha Baron Cohen.

BanditoShipman · 30/09/2022 19:16

Meseekslookatme · 30/09/2022 12:33

Can I recommend Zombeavers? Eve the closing music is amazing.

So beavers and Black Sheep are both excellent if you like that sort of thing 🤣

BanditoShipman · 30/09/2022 19:17

ZOMBeAvers, weird autocorrect

Totalityloss · 30/09/2022 19:18

Tom and Jerry the movie.

Such a disappointment.

gnilliwdog · 30/09/2022 19:27

maudesvagina · 30/09/2022 09:53

The Idiots Lars von Trier

I find LvT pretty unwatchable. Why he always has to have a woman being raped and abused I don't know. I don't think he's very well at times.

gnilliwdog · 30/09/2022 19:33

I accidentally watched a Spanish short as a kid, in the late 70s I think. It was announced as a comedy. A man goes into a phone box, then he can't get out. Passers by try to open the door but nobody can. Eventually a truck rolls up and puts the entire phone box on the back. They offload the phone box in some kind of depot, completely ignoring the man inside. He looks around and sees a body or skeleton in every phone box. The end. So, for the next 20 years or so, whenever I used a payphone, I had to wedge my foot in the door to stop it closing.
