What’s the most beautiful classical music piece ever composed?

Pls help me put together a classical playlist for when I give birth in a few weeks and tell me your favourite ‘birth worthy’ piece.

I have many I love but think mine is Ralph Vaughan Williams' Fantasia on a Theme by Thomas Tallis, it’s gorgeously ethereal, so that’s going on there. I also love Camille Saint-Saëns's classical masterpiece, Danse Macabre but probably a little dark for this particular event even if it will be around Halloween!

Maybe not strictly classical ((though he did have a Prom!) some of Murray Gold's music for Doctor Who is beautiful - especially The Shepherd's Boy, This is Gallifrey and Songs of Captivity and Freedom

Something rousing for the pushing stage. I would suggest

Enchantress by Thomas Bergensen

Two pieces that I adore are:

The Lark Ascending by Vaughan Williams

Lully, Lulla, Lullay by Philip Stopford, performed by the Truro Cathedral Choir

Just gorgeous.

There's a Chopin (prelude I think) DS plays that makes me stop in my tracks every time he plays it, but he hasn't left the sheet music at home and I can't remember what it is.
