Is anyone up? Feeling scared.

Hello, first time poster but long time reader. My father had a stroke today and I’m
terrified. I have no idea long term if he’ll be okay, it’s a bit of a waiting game at this point. It’s just my mum and I, no other family support and I don’t know how I’m going to cope. I’m sat here wide awake, puffy eyes, no more tears left, feeling more anxious and scared than I ever have before. Sorry for rambling, I have no one to talk to right now…

That is wonderful news @Calm1234 and I think that at one time you weren't sure how you would cope even if your DDad did pull through. Well you have coped, and extremely well by the sounds of it 😊 so please take strength from that knowledge, and experience, as you go through all of life's up and downs 🤗

"They" say that "the apple doesn't fall far from the tree", but I think it is usually said in a negative way. Well, in a very positve way, I am saying it in relation to you and your DDad, because you told us what an amazingly good DDad he is, and you sound like an amazingly good DDaughter. I am guessing that your DMum is a lovely person too ❤️
