I've been finding this mesmerising so thought I'd create a dedicated thread.
Saw Justin Trudeau and his wife pass through earlier.

I swear everytime I get up to do something for 5 minutes I miss something noteworthy. What time did the woman come in with the picture?

It has been so moving. Crowds can be such ugly angry things but The Queue was different. Bit more faith in us, in all our ordinary extraordinariness than I had a week ago, which I didn't expect.

We will all be walking with great dignity from now on!

Can I just say how fab I think the ushers have been?

They seem to have been very polite and courteous, while still looking as if they wouldn't stand any nonsense. All ex-services, perhaps?

Not sure who's just been or the balcony nor the group before.

It's set me thinking though... I'm pretty sure that balcony isn't normally there, nor the stand with cameras but the stairs which the guards come down... so it's all temporary structures, but with matching effective fake stonework?

Surely not all just for this and it gets used for other events? (Sorry this isn't the point of the thread but the entire thing is fascinating, people watching and logistics).

The woman police officer at one corner nearest the steps looks too young to have all those medals!

it does make me very proud of my country and the people within it. The grace and dignity everyone has shown has been incredible. This really is what British people do best

The lady who was on the balcony just now looked like Sofia of Spain, but the man didn't look like Juan Carlos. Constantine of Greece, perhaps?

The Royal Archers are all pretty elderly (where as the Bearskin guards seem a mixture agewise) i do hope theres plenty of apprentices in the ranks.
