We’re a bit sick of the commentary here…..

I, my sons, my uncle and even my royal-obsessed mum are a bit weary of the endless time-filling interviews with random people and the endless repetitive footage of the Queen doing this that and the other.

I think the most impressive bit by far was the notice on the palace gates - commentary free, like the Queen!

by all means show the rituals, briefly explain particular ceremonies and wear black but this is exhausting. I’ve got commentary fatigue

@KnickerlessParsons
Never have I ever watched so much nothing on TV, and found it fascinating.
•Hours and hours of nothing happening outside the gate to Balmoral
•Hours and hours of cars driving along an otherwise empty dual carriageway
•Hours and hours of people standing vigil while other people shuffle past in the background
• etc

Obviously you never watched Big Brother where they filmed the contestants sleeping.......

Actually. That is a bit what this all
reminds me of.

I think this might be part of the problem
i have with the constant coverage.

Next ground-breaking reality TV: Paint drying in real time. We are now joined by T D S Bawden, Professor of Materials Science at the University of South Grimsby, and Phil Space, Visual Wall Engineer at Sceptre Decorations Ltd. Professor, can you tell us more about this process?

Prof (mumbling into beard): Well, this is a process called polymerisation. The molecules take up oxygen from the air and form long strings of larger molecules….

On second thoughts, this is genuinely more interesting than the current news coverage. 😂😂😂

I've had my fill of wittering-on-for-the-sake-of-it pointless commentary now too. There really are times when a picture paints a thousand words.
