Which way would you vote in a referendum on the monarchy?

Now that the Queen is gone, if there were ever to be a referendum, would you vote to keep or abolish?

I would vote to abolish.

(On the money side, we could keep some of their many properties as state property and tourists would still come to see where the Royals used to live.)

Keep only because they are a better option based upon our recent voting record at elections.

Keep them but slim them down to King and Queen plus a handful of 'seniors'.

No. An fairly even split I think, from a rough totting up.

Keeping the Royal Family would win fairly comfortably.

The footage from recent events wouldn't look out of place in north Korea.

Thank you @IcedPurple for putting into words something that I found very disquieting .The massed ranks ,the precision marching at an unusual pace .
The preponderance of military .The rehearsing that had to be carried out in the night .
The brainwashing of a large proportion of the population.The media ,especially the BBC ,toeing the party line .

Thing of the past. Abolish. I do like Prince William and think he’d make a great king but I’m sure he’d still do good things with his life without having to be king.

This is true though so maybe keep, I’m undecided. I suppose they do no harm really, they’re pretty pointless but equally steeped in history it would be a shame in some ways. I’m not keen on Charles though and his temper when it comes to pens leaking ink or getting in his way 😆

They are net contributors to the sum of approx £2billion to the economy.. Even if you dislike them it would be utter stupidity to lose that money.

This happens in every country with a Military. Which is nearly every country in the world. Nothing like North Korea where people are forced to attend, forced to mourn when their leader dies, not allowed to show dissent or disagree with their Leader. There's been plenty of dissent in the media.
