I don't follow the royal family, but feel sad reading the news. RIP to her she was committed to her role in life.

We won’t see her like again. I used to be a republican but after seeing the likes of Trump, Bojo, Truss et al, I’d prefer Charles and William. I’m surprised how tearful, and slightly fearful, this expected death has made me. I’ve no doubt this will be the start of even more efforts to divide and destabilise the nation.

I have had a little cry. She seemed like a lovely lady and a constant my whole life. She dedicated herself to our country for her whole life which I found very impressive. She'll be a hard act to follow, no doubt. Thoughts with her family. Rest in Peace, your Majesty.

She has always been a part of my life. I shed a few tears when I heard the sad news. Of course you know she’s not gonna live forever but you just hope she would. A tremendous woman of duty and an example to us all. RIP Ma’am.
