HOC Speaker announcing the Queen's health has deteriorated.

I'm not really a Royalist, but this is sad news. The fact it has been announced in the HOC makes me think she must be really quite unwell.

She is just such a constant, a link to a world that no longer exists. A person that actually believes in duty to the country.

I'm surprised by how sad I am. We won't see her like again.

And Charles is a king at age 73. Very strange.

Another one who is surprised at the level of sadness I'm feeling.

It just doesn't seem real.

Racing has been cancelled tomorrow as a mark of respect. HM was a huge patron for the sport, she lived for her horses, of all breeds, but it was often said if she hadn’t been Queen she’d have been an excellent racehorse trainer.

Got my milk delivered yesterday and just went to wash bottle and put it out for the milkman, and it a bottle with the queen's jubilee on ( see pic). Then the new came on that the queen had died.
