What's the TV show you watch on repeat when you don't want to focus too much?

Mine is probably Gavin & Stacy, Brooklyn 99 or Friends 😁

@Savingpeoplehuntingthings Supernatural for me too.

My DD just started watching it but has lots of questions about season 1. Unfortunately I only watched 1-3 once a few years ago as Cas isn't in those ones!

Floydthebarber · 31/08/2022 19:58

Frasier, although I haven't watched it for a couple of years now.

BoJack Horseman. Who knew a cartoon about an anthropomorphic horse with a drink and drug could be so great.

TheSoundOfMucus · 31/08/2022 20:01

Location x 3
Gavin and Stacey!
Downton Abbey
Poldark
1995 Pride and Prejudice
Four in a Bed
The Royle Family

Films
Emma Thompson Sense and Sensibility
Four Weddings and a Funeral
Notting Hill
Paddington
and that ilk.

I rarely have possession of the remote control though!

Friday night dinner, Gavin and Stacey, Frasier, Outnumbered, Inbetweeners. There’s a channel on Pluto which shows back to back Homes under the Hammer and my really guilty pleasure is hiding under a blanket and watching that!
DD currently really into Death in Paradise and I’m really enjoying rewatching it with her. Very cosy and escapist!

BurnDownTheDiscoHangTheDJ · 31/08/2022 20:01

US Office. Nothing lovelier on a winters evening after having not watched it for a while and settle in with a Chinese to watch Jim and Pam not be able to articulate their love for one another frustratingly for three seasons.

MissDollyMix · 31/08/2022 20:02

And Friends of course!

We recently rewatched all of ‘Him and Her’ as well. Does anyone remember that? That’s a great comfort/easy watch too 🙂

Loved that show! I love Russell Tovey in everything he's in 😅 (especially Being Human)

It's a real genre isn't it? And we need more of them!

For me it's Ghosts, Parks and Recreation, What we do in the Shadows, Father Ted, The Detectorists.

All shows I genuinely mourned when they came to an end!

faffadoodledo · 01/09/2022 08:23

Oh and Motherland!

Is this a thing? I don’t have one!!!

It’s been years since I’ve seen it but if I had to pick to watch again it’d be friends. In fact I might watch some tonight could do with some of those happy feelings I used to have watching it. Fawlty Towers is another one.
