What's the TV show you watch on repeat when you don't want to focus too much?

Mine is probably Gavin & Stacy, Brooklyn 99 or Friends 😁

Gavin and Stacey - watched it beginning to end when DM was in hospital over new year having her first chemo.

Detectorists - watched it beginning to end when I had Covid

Gavin and Stacey

I also love a bit of real shite - housewives of, sister wives, below deck, teen mom, unexpected...

I deal with words and writing and proof reading all day in technical language - I need some crap tv to decompress:)

If you love reality shite I'd definetely reccomend Selling Sunset if you haven't already binged that, soo much drama!

TheNonsensePotter · 31/08/2022 13:35

dinnerladies

When DC3 was tiny and fed through the night I used to go downstairs with them at about 4am, put dinnerladies on, do a feed and nod off until about 8 when everyone else woke up
It's a lovely memory during a very difficult time and always makes me feel comforted now.

Ineedwinenow · 31/08/2022 13:36

Big Bang Theory

Were you also completely let down by "And just like that"? 🤦‍♀️

I liked the fact the new show was about the lives and loves of menopausal women ( I'm at that phase of life now 😞) and how life changes when we get older ( most tv shows have 50+ women as parents only and not lead characters) but I did find it a bit too woke for me (nothing against peoples choices but there was definitely a lot of current trends in the show and it just wasn’t what I wanted out of SATC

mrsDracoMalfoy · 31/08/2022 13:46

The Gilmore Girls

yogz1976 · 31/08/2022 13:53

Yeah that was my issue with it, just felt like absolutely everything was an opportunity to promote a woke agenda 🤦‍♀️

Star Trek Voyager is my go-to comfort binge.

And is also the most outing thing I could post on mumsnet for anyone who knows me!

Mine too. I’ve got the entire set, luckily they were away for seven years so it takes a long ‘voyage’ to keep up.
