For me it was last night as I was sat in my Pjs at 8pm, binge watching Lucifer, eating crumpets and drinking alcohol free prosecco (pregnant with DD3)

That'll probably be me 😅 after nearly 3 kids and working in the food industry for over 10 years I do not have the back, knees or feet of a 27 year old haha

When I took absolute joy in completely defrosting my freezer. My husband has never satisfied me the way that did.

When my friend and I were sitting on the balcony of our hotel in Spain drinking tea and eating biscuits rather than go to a club because it was 'a bit crowded and noisy'. We were 25.

When I invited my housemate to look at how clean the oven was since I cleaned it with the oven spray stuff (for the first time since we moved in two years ago)
I was so excited that parts were silver not actually black and that apparently there was a window in the door to see your food.
She was not as excited

My 11yo told me in the car he likes phonk music. I though he said funk music and I thought it was a bit of a unique genre for an 11 year old, but whatever. Then he played me some and it was not funk. He had to spell it for me. There's whole new genres of music I don't know the existence of and I'm still listening to the killers.

When I started packing my preferred brand of teabags to take abroad with me (in a little Tupperware tub to add to my coolness).

When I advised the young engineer visiting my office that he 'better use the toilet before he left' as it was a long way home 5 miles

I also told him in my mother's voice that he would 'get cold in his kidneys' due to his low slung troosers

I just had to YouTube that to see what it was. It's not bad tbh! Not my usual genre of music but I can see the appeal

When I started looking forward to 'The Repair Shop'

🤣🤣🤣This is the kind of shit I do. Two new members of staff- 22 and 25- and I just want to pat them like I do my children 🙈.

I realised I was cool when I called my 14 year old student today 'G' and asked if he was a roadman. The rest of the class were like ❓️🤔🤣

Actually it was when my Mum died two months ago. I'm grieving but I've literally stopped sweating the small stuff and have never felt more confident.

When I bumped into adult DS's best pal the other day and she said she wants to arrange to get together with her lovely partner, my DS, my DH and me for dinner. I reckon I must be seriously cool if a bunch of 20-somethings want to socialise with me 😂
