And no it's not food colouring!
Just got up, walked past a mirror and did a double take and my lips have a very definite blue tinge Confused

111
MN is not an NHS service.

It's generally more use than 111.

you're CEV, 111is hopeless. No faith in them whatsoever, you need your data done. Do you have anyone who could drive you to A&E?

Some phones measure o2. Not sure of accuracy

CuriousMama · 11/08/2022 00:48

I hope it settles down soon? A cold affects your oxygen so hopefully it'll be back to normal soon?

PeloAddict · 11/08/2022 01:03

I'm back to normal colour now Confused
You can see the difference! Will see how I am tomorrow

Mine go blue like that maybe once every couple of years if I’m run down and I’ve sat for a long time. I do have raynaulds. Only in one finger though so it’s funny where it shows up.

CuriousMama · 11/08/2022 01:08

Good I reckon it's the cold virus.

Supersimkin2 · 11/08/2022 12:16

Phew. Glad you’re feeling better.

I would book in with your GP plus get a sats monitor for home so you can check if it happens again. There is still a slight blue tinge in the lower lip at both corners.

I think that's just my colouring Blush I am really pale
My dad said I used to go white/blue around my lips as a child when I was sick

Not sure if this is helpful but I get blue lips on a regular basis. I'm just pale and feel the cold very easily, although I wouldn't have blue lips on a day like today! I can get blue lips after eating an ice lolly or something though. It also happens if I feel a bit faint or ill or if I'm having a bit of a phobic reaction to something (but that goes along with feeling faint). It's never been anything serious.

They look better when not blue Grin I do get asked about lip fillers a lot as people think they don't look natural
