Things that are now forever named after something your kid said

In our household, I make a rice dish sometimes that is named after my son's reaction to it when he was about 3. Knowing he liked rice and sweetcorn, I presented him with this dish that includes both, only for his little face to crumple and him to give an anguished cry of 'MUMMY, WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO IT?!'

So of course, it has ever since been known as 'Mummy why did you do that to it?!' (I've even crossed out the name in the recipe book and written it there). DS is now 11 and actually likes MWDYDTTI these days, although he still leaves the green peppers.

Is there anything that your household now refers to by something memorable one of the kids has said?

We still say I can hear a nee nah - anything with a loud siren applies.

Me go Nan nights - nobody sleeps in this house and it's how we announce we are going to bed.

Flalingo for Flamingo

No like it - don't like it

Blip blip - remote control

VDV for DVD - not that anybody watches them anymore!

Clitt Richard - oh how we laughed and still do!

That Sexing thing - sex (about 7-8 when learning about said subject and where babies come from etc, youngest wakes up day after and asks us if we are going to do that sexing thing to have another baby)!

I'm sure there are many more. A lot of mispronunciations are very common in pre school children but some are definitely unique amongst families.

Blueberries are known as boobies since my daughter demanded this at breakfast when she was about 14 months and my immediate reaction was "I mean you're about 13 months too late to decide you want that..." until she pointed determinedly at the fridge.
