Am I unusually heavy for my size or do I have reverse body dysmorphia?

Name change as this is incredibly obviously outing if you know me at all.

I’m often seeing threads with women saying they weigh X amount and are Y size, or have a low BMI and wear a larger size than me or think they need to lose weight. I can’t tell if I am unusually dense (yes I’m aware that muscle is ‘heavier’ but I’m not an elite athlete by any stretch!), or just think I look much slimmer than I actually do 😂

I’m about 166cm. What do I weigh and what clothing size do I wear?

Lol, it's really not. I'm that height, 10st, and a size 12-14. I haven't been a waif for some time.

Some people do though. At 10stone(years ago) I was very slim size 10. Under that I looked ill.

At my heaviest, I weighed 15 and a half stone. A friend was astonished to learn that I weighed more than her - she was just under 11 stone. People are proper crap at this. The only people who always get it right are slimming world consultants who can weigh anyone by eye.

OP - Given height I'd say size 12 and 11 stone.

In the shorts I'd say size 12 and 11stoneish. In the jeans I'd say 14-16 and 12 stone+.

I'm 5'4" and weigh 8st exactly.
I'm a size 10.
I'm not waif like.
I am however older and have 2 adult dc.
A young person will usually be a lot firmer even if heavier and especially if not had dc.

OK, 10 stone would be waif-like for me! My lightest adult weight was 10 stone 7 and I looked gaunt. I'm 5 foot 7...

I know where you’re coming from OP. When I was 13 stone I was a size 10 at only 5’4”. Apparently I’ve got the lean muscle mass of a pro athlete.
