Can I just say he's an utter fucking legend? Love him. After Life 1 and 2 helped me through a really shit time... now watching Derek and it's making me cry my eyes out and laugh so much it literally hurts. I wish I could be mates with his gang of friends on there. My kind of people. Swearing, uncouth but kind and non judgemental as fuck.

He's not just a comedian he's a brilliant emotional actor too.

That's his act, it doesn't mean that he has zero empathy. You obviously don't get his humour and are taking it literally.

Yes, well, maybe I'm simply too close to the condition; but maybe he should've done research of how a large amount of sufferers are treated.

I love his opinions on God, sex/gender and animals.

I love him, he's a massive animal lover and fantastic stand up, on top of his tv shows. Seen him live many times and believe me, loads of REALLY funny stuff is cut out of his recordings.
