Not including houses or car level things, what have you on your wish list if the money was there? I’m thinking a dyson hair wrap but the price is frankly ridiculous. Does anyone have one and would your rate it?

just daydreaming here.

Driving lessons, a hybrid car and a caravan.

An all-rounder contractor to sort out a few things in my flat.

A fitted wardrobe, a really good one, not IKEA.

Alphabet1spaghetti2 · 28/07/2022 17:07

Totally frivolous, but I would like to do some of the Lego flowers. On a grander scale - new garage doors and gates.

•I'm lusting after some built in alcove cupboards either side of my fireplace. I know I should hire a carpenter but it'll cost a lot.

•A smaller bed, stuck with what I already own, have moved house and it's far too big in my small bedroom, to the point I don't even have room for bedside tables.

•I would love an air fryer, but I can't justify it whilst I have a working oven.

•Would love a proper WFH area, currently using the kitchen table and I hate feeling like I'm stuck in the same room all day, finish working to cook dinner and then eat/tidy up.

•I would love a dishwasher.

• and finally... a cleaner to come a couple of times a week.

😊

I’m looking at the lego Home Alone set. It’s so expensive though, so I’m trying to talk myself into buying it.

It’s so cool my son has it. It took him a day and a half to build

Crazyhousewife · 28/07/2022 17:15

A new house (need to be moved by September for school)
dermot Kennedy or a hot look alike
a night out (by the end of the 6 weeks holidays I’m going to need the pub haha)

lightand · 28/07/2022 17:16

Some more catering keep warm trays.
Bought some last christmas. Great. Been keeping an eye on their price for 6 months. But cant decide if Christmas will be boom or bust this year.
Can people afford to come? Will they want to? etc

Oh and new garden furniture, but that’s looking as expensive as my car was so maybe not for this post!!

Wait till after summer so it may be in the sale?
But maybe they will have sold out. Or maybe you need it before that.

springingup · 28/07/2022 17:21

A pair of Dr Martens Gryphon sandals

MirandaJayne · 28/07/2022 17:22

I have the AirWrap (6 months). IMO it is worth the money and I'd buy it again if I had to Smile

MirandaJayne · 28/07/2022 17:23

Robotic lawnmower for sure Flowers

JennyForeigner · 28/07/2022 17:24

Five minutes peace. I have three children under three and work full time.

All I covet in life is a sit down.

Thestoppedfan · 28/07/2022 17:27

The lego Harry Potter hogwarts express- I want it to be on a track going round the Christmas tree. DH hasn’t taken my many subtle hints!

GandalfsRing · 28/07/2022 17:33

A gastric sleeve 😁

my friend went abroad for one and has lost 4 stone in 5 months. Was about half the price of a uk clinic. I’m tempted to cash in some premium bonds and do the same.

MammaWeasel · 28/07/2022 18:25

Some new wardrobes, I've been looking at ikea Pax.

AffIt · 28/07/2022 16:06

A Bissell spot cleaner for the carpets.

I have a cat with a delicate tummy (yes, she's being looked after by the vet and is on an appropriate diet) and they just look really convenient for cleaning up cat puke on light-coloured carpets (also yes, I'm an idiot for owning animals and having light-coloured carpets).

I have the little green machine and was even thinking about selling it but it is quite handy

mrs55 · 28/07/2022 19:08

Robot vacuum has changed my life I got a roomba I also have the air wrap and it's good but wouldn't say it's worth the money , I'm lusting over a full nights sleep but my 9 month old has other ideas 😂 oh and the mop version of my roomba .

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 28/07/2022 19:35

Lakrids Chocolate Licorice for Christmas (I'm not eating chocolate but maybe by Christmas I'll have a day off . It looks very interesting -and ££ - so I cannot see myself buying loads )

A skip - we have stuff to go out and some recyclable and Charity Shop donations , so the skip will be for when anything useable has gone .

A long Superdry coat , the thin padded non feather/down one

Soup maker , I keep thinking will I use it ,

MrsLargeEmbodied · 28/07/2022 19:37

a holiday

InFiveMins · 28/07/2022 19:43

A ninja foodi multi-cooker. I'm desperate for one but I want the most expensive version and it's about £300 and I can't really justify it when I have a fully functioning oven, it isn't a necessity I just want it.

SniggleSnarf · 28/07/2022 19:50

Joseph Quinn

allfurcoatnoknickers · 28/07/2022 19:58

Davide on Love Island.

Other than that, I've got my eye on an utterly OTT pair of Stuart Weitzman sandals. They are stupid, and impractical and I don't need the, but I WANT them dammit.

Didicat · 28/07/2022 20:05

A yanigasawa alto saxophone
A highland pony and a fell pony plus a field and stables
someone to pack the car for the holiday next week and clean my house whilst we are away

kittenkipping · 28/07/2022 20:07
