Intense celebrity crushes

Do other people get intense celebrity/ character crushes? Just wondering how normal they are? I get a few a year. Very intense, last a few weeks and then pass. Anyone else?

This is a weird one and i’m not sure if he counts as a celebrity but Eddie Lucas from below deck! I just adore him and want to marry him and have lots of babies and dogs and live on a boat! Despite being a very happily married mother of 4.

Ha! As soon as Jamie Campbell Bower appeared on screen I quickly googled “Stranger Things orderly” and hit myself with massive spoilers. He’s one of those people who is strangely attractive and I can’t quite explain why.

I would say it's the character and not the celebrity but the characters are pretty unpleasant.

Just for some balance, as I assume there are others out there like me but... no 😄. I really can't imagine crushing on someone I've never met before where there's no real life connection.

That's not to say I'm not prone to crushes in case I'm coming across as smug and holier than thou 👹. In fact, celeb crushes actually sound really convenient because you're never likely to make a tit out of yourself in front of them. So crack on and enjoy is all I've got to say.

Embarrassed to say I saw a photo of my ex with our young son recently (when we were married) and he was stunningly good looking. I guess I’m allowed to find him attractive at that time (I don’t now) as we were married but yes, pretty embarrassing.

Oh it's way easier. I'm happily married and I'd be genuinely upset and confused if I developed a real-life crush. Some random actor in another country, who I don't even know and whose entire personality is a figment of my imagination? Safe and stress free!
