What does everyone look like/ live like.

I’m 33 have medium length brown ratty hair. Currently size 10 and just under 10 stone. We currently rent a 2 bed flat in the centre of a medium size town next to a funeral directors and a Subway. I earn £24k and DH earns about £40k

I'm 55, shoulder length fair hair. My style has always been boho/hippie, long maxi dresses or skirts worn with pretty tops. Never see me in jeans and t shirt. Never wear trousers or black.

Live on disability benefits with my adult DD2.

No hobbies as such, but love reading, going out to stone circles when I can, love history, and just being with my DD and our cat.

I live in NE Scotland.

Live in a spacious, bright two bed maisonette in Wiltshire. Joint income of about 55k. Husband is most definitely working class, would consider myself MC but currently thriving on a WC budget.

I'm white but not British or European.

I'd class myself as a bit of a hippie and most definitely "crunchy". Don't buy new clothes/furniture ever. Shop at a refill shop as much as I can and don't do chemicals if I can avoid it!

And my house is kitted out in warm, neutral colours and as many natural fibres as I can get my hands on. The total opposite of Mrs Hinch!

I'm late 30's, me and DH both earn 35 to 40k, 3 bed semi, no kids. Big garden where we try to grown most of our own food, house is always on the verge of chaos with me & DH being so busy and a crazy dog running about.

I’ve just conjured up a picture and apparently my vision of the average MNetter is Sam Cam.

I'm 41, used to look young for my age but since being diagnosed with ovarian cancer last year I've definitely aged. 5ft 4, size 10 (normally an 8 but been comfort eating), dark shoulder length hair (naturally blonde/grey) about to get a fringe to hid my snapped off hair due to a cold cap in chemo. Have a 4 bed detached house in The Midlands, married, my ds is 20, recently got a lovely pup. Husband is self employed and a high earner, I used to be a teacher now I create educational resources, combined income over 150k , no cleaner, definitely not Mrs Hinch.

54, 5’9 size 12. Shoulder length blonde hair, 3 children who are late twenties/early thirties and have all left home. I gave up work last August and DH and I moved back home to where we grew up. We bought a four bed cottage on the banks of the loch, we’re mortgage free. We share our home with 4 dogs, 2 cats and the odd chicken when they wander in from the garden. I’ll be adding a few horses to our brood shortly. Definitely no grey carpets/decor here. DH has a strange job that he can be home for months/years then away for over a year at a time. I needed a base and somewhere to call home after years of flying here there and everywhere to catch up with him. I’m happy pottering, walking the dogs and having a much slower pace of life these days. We don’t have a cleaner although we did have a housekeeper for many years before we moved. The house is clean but lived in, I don’t want to live the way that we used to tbh. I rarely wear make up, my hair is normally in a ponytail tail or messy bun and I live in jeans and T-shirts, flip flops or country boots.

I’ve been on MN for years and many times have had really good advice from the wise owls on these boards ☺️

I’m early 60s, in my head I’m 25 😀5’5”, size 10. Blonde curly wavy hair. Live on South Coast in own property with DH, met 42 years ago, married 38 years ! (no children 😔) He’s semi retired, I still work part time. Joint income £50k. Quite minimalistic which keeps the house tidy, think that comes from being an ex forces brat. Daydream about living on my own in a nice little village.

Rent a 3 bed new build in a nice midlands village, did own but separated from exh 5 years ago and this suits me fine. Two children aged 8 and 13

House is very neutral because I can’t decorate or change carpets but I have added pops of colour here and there.

Definitely needs a clean but I can’t be arsed. Income of £25k plus UC top up, just started a distance access to nursing course but will continue to work alongside.

I’m early 40s, 5ft2 (midget) 7.5 stone and size 6-8. Earn 47k and DH earns 30-35k. 3 kids and 2 large dogs! Live in a large 4 before semi. Happy with life at the moment, but prone to anxiety/mental health issues which puts a massive downer on things at time.

I'm 34, 5ft 7 and a size 16 with chin length brown hair.

Live in Berkshire in a 4 bedroom detached house (mortgaged) with DH and two DDs age 5 and 3. House isn't at all Mrs Hinch style and much more traditional due to the age of the property. Log burner and tiled floors etc.

Joint household income of just over £100k made up mostly of DH's salary as I work part time around the kids.

Oh and we do have a cleaner that comes once a week!

27, 5’5, not fat as such but can definitely tell I live on redbull and biscuits. I earn £23k, although this will be going down when I go back to work, OH £29.5k. 3 bed house down south that we’ve done alot of work on but still needs loads doing. House currently looks like a bombs hit it.

5ft5, size 14, short copper red hair. Live in a very small 2bed HA bungalow on the edge of a village. Combined income of 39k
