Last night I fantasised about…

Plunging a bit fat sissors or similar sharp object in the NDN but one’s paddling pool.

I would 100 percent do it, if I could get away with
it. I’ve even discussed with DH the best and most effective way to do it! 😀
The fucking shrieking and bellowing is doing my nut in, and every time I hear the twatty parents encouraging them, I want to do something to seriously injure them!
This is the one thing I hate about summer. Well that and topless men wandering around Tesco, or anywhere else for that matter. It’s fucking vile!

If I was boss for the day, I’d ban paddling pools, and topless men!!
How about everyone else? What would you ban?

Never voted Tory in my life!
Just Hate. Anti social dickheads who have no respect for anyone and think they can do what they like without any consequences!
Hope they’re thrown out in three months.

So what else have they done op? You are coming across vile. I am so so glad we don't have a neighbours like you anywhere near us.

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 11/07/2022 19:17

MsOllie · 11/07/2022 19:00

@AllThingsServeTheBeam I never said I wished they were homeless Confused
They don't even live there so even if they did get kicked out (which they wouldn't as it's a mortgage) they would still have a home
They're visiting relatives being babysat

God forbid I want to open my windows in this weather or use my own garden

The op has. Multiple times and you're the one agreeing with them.

So they're not even your neighbours. Jesus wept.

AllThingsServeTheBeam · 11/07/2022 19:17

Anotherdayanotherdisappointment · 11/07/2022 19:01

Have the other neighbours actually made complaints too or have they just nodded and agreed with you and said they have because they're slightly scared of how crazy you act about children playing and are kinda scared of what might happen if they disagree with you?

A scummy renters thread. 🙄

I've just brought my kids in because they started screaming in the pool and I doubt the neighbours, who are also trying to enjoy the good weather, want to hear that.

I did warn them a couple of times to calm it down a bit and they couldn't so game over I'm afraid.

Stabbing their pool might be a step too far though 🤣

I would do that too. You can have fun and enjoy the summer without screaming.

MayISuggestSomeThickCutSteakChipsToGoWithThat · 11/07/2022 19:49

Unless you're gonna buy a house in the middle of no where with no neighbours for miles around, then sometimes living next door to kids who god forbid might get a bit noisy and excited when they play outside. Is all part of the parcel unfortunately.

Squiff70 · 11/07/2022 21:02

There's a huge difference between the sound of children playing and the sound of entire families taking the absolute piss.

There's the sound of the neighbours playing music in their own garden loud enough for them to hear it but without the need for the entire community to hear the same music through a sound system.

Children playing in a pool for a few hours = absolutely no problem. Children screaming and wailing and shrieking and fighting for hours when the parents seeming don't care = taking the absolute piss.

Somebody said you don't have a right to enjoy relative peace in your own garden if you have neighbours. Seriously? Seriously? Then I hope a family of 15 with a massive pool and extra loud sound system move in next to you with their five big barky dogs and constant to-ing and fro-ing with vans and lorries at all times of the day and night so you can prove your point.

Speaking of points, OP if I knew your address I'd send you that dart in the post tomorrow, and I'd even sharpen it for you first.

Happy Summer everyone! 😎

ImFuminHun · 11/07/2022 21:07

This is fun my because the neighbours had their paddling pool out yesterday and I loved hearing the noise of the kids!

Similarly at work (a huge childrens centre) the crèche have the kids outside sometimes next to our office, I love hearing them in the background and once said "That's such a lovely sound" to everyone in the office and the murmurs I got back showed that everyone else thought very differently 😂

I fucking hate the noise of eating, or tapping so we all have our quirks 😁

MyCousinDaphne · 11/07/2022 21:17

What a horrible thread. Small children have the right to play. Children should be prioritised above all else- have you read any of those articles that talk about how 'behind' they are because of the pandemic? They need to laugh and play and enjoy and learn without po-faced busy bodies whinging. And don't get me started on renters. Some of us can't afford to buy houses. Our children still deserve to thrive.

MyCousinDaphne · 11/07/2022 21:19

And this!!

Also, I do think SOME 'renters' might be more likely to not give a toss about their neighbours than they would if they owned the home. They know it's not a permanent home and that they can/will move on. So some are less likely to be considerate, and less likely to cultivate good relations with their neighbours.

SOME renters live in fear of being moved on because they can't afford to move and their children are going to lose their home. Have some compassion.

Forgothowmuchlhatehomeschoolin · 11/07/2022 21:38

Is having fun their only crime? Or are they generally wankers?

Wafflesnsniffles · 11/07/2022 21:44

Guaranteed anyone on threads like this saying "oh what a misery you are op" "let them have fun op" - has either never had awful neighbours or they themselves are the neighbours everyone else likes to moan about.

A dart is in the post op.

reallyshouldbeworking · 11/07/2022 21:55

@MyCousinDaphne constant screaming and not being taught the art of consideration isn't going to make any child 'thrive'.

reallyshouldbeworking · 11/07/2022 21:57

Sidnnancy · 11/07/2022 19:06

You are one nasty cunt op. Here's hoping you fail to keep your home and are homeless.

I think comments like that make you the nasty cunt.

Pocolovo · 11/07/2022 21:58

Thanks for the offer of the darts folks.😀

I'm with you. I have no problem with living next to the park on one side, kids playing is fine but my neighbours on the other side...

We have tiny gardens and it's like they're in my lounge, the kids play football all day long, constantly banging the ball off the fence (my fence!) they last about 5 mins before they start screaming at each other.

The parents can't talk at a normal volume and shout instead of talking.

It's driving me insane!

Of course they should be allowed to use their garden but even in the middle of the day at the weekend people should still think about an appropriate noise level. Screaming and constant shouting is not normal 🤷🏻‍♀️

The need for sleep. Or being realistic, have a society focused on knowledge and learning and science, to see how fast our scientific and technologies developed.

Hawkins001 · 11/07/2022 22:33

You would need some fishing wire, with a fishing hook, and somehow able to get it into The water of the paddling pool,

Hawkins001 · 11/07/2022 22:34

That's only from a theoretical perspective
