You may have heard the dreadfully sad news that JungleZgok’s wonderful 18 year old son recently died very suddenly. Mental ill health can be such a devastating illness. Bless his heart. Life has been very cruel to them all. We send JungleZgok, her DH and their daughters our love and are so sorry. They are all in our thoughts. 
We are so glad that she has accepted our offer of a Woolly Hug, we hope it may give whatever comfort it can. There will be love crafted into every stitch. JungleZgok’s original thread is here…

Important crafting info, please do read
Squares to be six inches, using 4mm needles or hook. Please knot off VERY carefully when finishing or changing colour and sew your ends in, thank you! No blocking please, makes it much easier to join squares.
Simple or complex, made by beginner or expert, we genuinely welcome them all. It really is the love and thought that counts.
Ideas from lovely Jungle
His favourite colour was purple and he liked flowers (in particular the Bird of Paradise, pic in OP). He loved DIIV the band, sunsets and all types of music too. (DIIV is an American rock band from Brooklyn, New York City.)

We know that some schools in the UK are already on summer break, and others are imminently doing likewise, so plan to stretch the last posting date to Saturday 10th September to give everyone a chance.

A bit pushed for time with helping DD with her new twins , but sure I can do it

I'm going to look at producing some extra squares around the flower theme. I may need a slight extension to the posting date as I'm currently trying to finish another Angel Hug (@KnottyAndPistey - I did post a Haven House Hospice Angel Hug to you on Monday, fingers crossed it's arrived safely).
I'm out at a BBQ later today but I'll start planning some extra squares tomorrow. 
@minniebar we'd love them all, and this was always the exception on posting, but last posting isn't until mid September anyway!
