We’ve had pizza and a film tonight, now I’m just hanging up the washing from today before I catch up on the Real Housewives with a glass of wine and probably some nuts
DP has gone out
DS1 is in his room on his Xbox
DD2 is at the desk in the dining room playing the Sims while something she’s painted dries before she can add another layer
DS2 & DD2 are both in bed but DD2 is definitely not sleeping yet, she thinks I can’t hear her messing about 🙄
Ddog is snoozing on one of my brand new cushions that I said she wasn’t allowed on

What’s happening in your house?

We've had takeaway pizza for tea.

The DDs (12 and 13) and I are on tenterhooks in the small lounge waiting for the Heartstopper edition of Celebrity Gogglebox. I'm drinking prosecco.

DH is in the big lounge watching a noisy film.

Ddog is sulking about not being given the pizza crusts and is also sporting more spots than usual as she ate several chocolate cupcakes earlier and we had to get some activated charcoal down her neck, which was very messy.

We went out for tea. DS is in bed, DH and I are on our phones about to watch Gogglebox. Rock and roll!

Dh has gone to collect dd1 from uni, so an overnight stay. dd2 is working in the pub until 11pm and I'm peacefully watching over two neighbours dogs who are sleeping here tonight as they have gone to see relatives. It's very quiet - tomorrow night will be busier

I've painted half a set of story props ready for Monday, been in the shower, and now mooching on here for ten before picking up my book. I'll be in bed by ten ish; it's been one of those days <yawn>

Dd2 invited herself into dd1's room then threw a strop when dd1 asked her to leave so she could shower 🙄 Dd2 is now in the shower instead after stomping around down here for a bit.

Not sure what dd1 is doing; most likely scrolling tik-tik or Insta 🤷‍♀️

I’m in bed watching old bbc series trying to get over covid and ds is downstairs watching rubbish on YouTube.

We are about to watch the just released vol 2 of Stranger Things 4 with a glass of wine. I've been very excited about it!

We've just been to pick up a too good to go Cinnabon order.

Dh is zooming with a friendship group he found during lockdown. I'm laying in my bed, using my phone. Dc are listening to an audio book and ds3 have fallen asleep.
I'm very happy boxing happens on Friday after school. The dc fall asleep very fast.

We’re watching part 2 of stranger things for the second time today, we’re not geeks…

My son is asleep and the baby is playing with her feet as you do.

We are off on holiday on Monday but nowhere near ready! Just had a takeaway, ds2 has taken the dog for a walk, ds1 is upstairs on his xbox and I'm ready for bed. It's been a looooong week!

Watching TV having eaten 3 Betty's Cherry Fondant fancies. Feeling slightly sick.

Son in his room, probably eating. Husband holding my hand. Life is good.

We’ve had takeaway pizza and kebabs for tea, watched a film and had just got both kids asleep, poured a rhubarb and ginger gin & tonic and put on Umbrella Academy when DD2 woke as she’s a bit snuffly tonight. I’m upstairs trying to resettle her thinking I might as well go to sleep too if this is how the night is going to be 😴

Oven tea tonight battered fish and chips, now our friend is here cutting our hair (don’t worry she is a hairdresser!!)😆

For dinner we had a mash-up of two different leftover dishes from the freezer - chorizo, butter bean and spinach stew with Korean beef short rib hangover stew. Had with rice. We went to the farm shop today which we do monthly to stock up on meat. When we got home I played freezer Tetris to fit it all in and those two meals had to come out in order to fit the last few pieces in, which was perfect as I couldn’t think what I wanted to make for dinner. It was very nice.

We’re now in bed chilling. DH is looking at DVDs to buy (we longer watch tv nor have any film/tv subscriptions so we just buy a few films or a box set every month instead). I’m browsing MN and looking at various sales/eBay to see if I come across the perfect bargain.

I also took out a container of leftover crumble mix earlier to make more space in the freezer so in a minute we’re going to have rhubarb and nectarine crumble with custard.

Later we’ll watch a film.

Its only the two of us, so that’s it for our household.

I had a mad dash to the local retail park to grab a handbag for my daughter to take to her prom as the one she already had didn't look right 🙈 Grabbed dh and ds a McDonalds whilst there.

Now I'm killing time in the bath while I wait to collect her from the prom after party apparently! Dh is downstairs watching Glasto on catch up and ds is asleep.

Dh is watching tv catch up - the Boys and Obi-Wan. I'm mumsnetting. Ds (20) is on his computer until his gf comes round later. I think dd2 (18) is on Minecraft. Or possibly doing her nails. I'm off to bed in a bit as I've got a full weekend of classes towards my counselling diploma starting at 9 am!

DH did spaghetti and meatballs for dinner while I was at work, him and DS1 and DD ate dinner while I collected DS2 from the station (he'd been marauding around a local seaside town all day as there was an INSET). DS1 on his PC gaming, DS2 now chilling in bed with a DCat1 as his legs are tired from all the marauding. DD just offered me a cup of tea and was crestfallen that I'm happy with my glass of wine. I'm lying on my bed with wine and was reading until DH came up for a chat (he's bored!) so now I'm scrolling MN until I get back to the book. DH back downstairs probably looking for DCat2 to annoy.
I'm irrationally hungry despite eating a whole pizza for lunch and I've had dinner. I want a tuna sandwich...

Babies are fed and now fast asleep. I have just been sent some photos of DH that made me laugh and cry all at the same time, I am making scrap books for the babies so they can have some memories of him as they go forward in their lives. In a minute I am going to go out and check the chickens are in bed and feed the hedgehog then I will lock up for the night. I might make myself a cuppa in a minute and have a Jaffa cake or two before bed.

I finished work , popped to Tesco because someone mentioned dairylea triangles , I ate 4 of them out the wrapper with a glass of wine, while cooking chicken for burgers , ran a bath which was too hot that made me dizzy but that could have been that I was now on half a bottle of wine ... one child shouting down a head set and laughing, the other now making sushi... me and hubby watching Netflix with the dog between us chewing his toy on the bed ... my eye lids feel like they have bricks on them so I won't be long before I'm blowing bubbles ... then in the morning I'll no doubt have to clear up dried rice that the 18 yr old has 'missed' ...another day in paradise

We had takeaway and film night with DS4. Now DP is downstairs watching tv and I’m in bed with the newborn breastfeeding and watching come dine with me on the iPad. One of the best Friday nights for ages.

Had a takeaway from village pub.

DD is now in room with Maine Coon kitten.

I am resting now having done my last chemo on Monday.

Dh is hanging up new curtains and will shortly put the silkie chickens to bed.

Ds is with his indoor rabbit.

Been preparing Cornish trip next week.

DS3 asleep at 7:30, DD8 asleep at 8:30. DH is setting up our new gaming PC, and I'm planning on either writing a bit more of my Camp Nanowrimo, or playing on the Switch. I'm definitely having a Magnum, or some ice cream at the very least.

We've got a busy weekend so I want to get an early night!

We had mini sliders for tea (garlic doughs cut into buns with a flattened meatball in to look like a burger).
