Given how difficult it is to offer hints for redactle, without giving it away/being too obvious, this is a specific thread for hints.

Doesn't mean that they should give the game away, but it just stops other players seeing the hint every time they access the main thread.

So from now on, just keep your stats and general comments on the main thread and come here for any hints!

I've just got it. I'm not sure it's a word I've heard before. Once you've narrowed down the precise area and time, it's possible to google it. Took me ages.

Not Ammonites either.

I managed to get some words that seemed on a similar theme to yesterday's fairly early on, and wasted a long time going down that track.

Yeah, it's definitely complex. There's a bit near the end which might give some idea what general sort of thing you might be looking for (or looking at, maybe)
