I've lost 2 stone in 14 weeks - is this good?

Because right now, it feels like a bit of a slog tbh.

I was feeling like it was pretty good but my friend said to me that it was actually quite slow. And I've still got another stone and a bit to go 🤨

Motivation needed probably!

its good! It’s healthy! They say to lose 1-2 pounds a week so you have averaged out around 2 pound a week. Well done! Be proud of yourself. X

HappyGoDucky · 28/06/2022 17:47

It's spot on OP, 2lb a week. We'll done you can do it!

ComDummings · 28/06/2022 17:48

That is 2lb a week so pretty fast! Well done. Your friend sounds like a bit of a knob bringing you down to be honest.

JuneJubilee · 28/06/2022 17:48

Your 'friend' is a massive twat!!

two stone in 14 weeks is brilliant!!

well done. Another few weeks & you'll be there, but don't expect the last stone to go as quickly as the first two.

ditch 10 stone fast!! (The bitchy 'friend')

Justcallmebebes · 28/06/2022 17:49

This is a healthy rate at which to lose. Don't let people sabotage your journey

Pleaseletmeconfirm · 28/06/2022 17:50

That’s great. Your weight loss might slow down but as long as it’s going in the right direction it doesn’t matter.

Wellthatsjustswell · 28/06/2022 17:52

Your friend is an arse!

Well done you! 🎉

ilovetomatoes · 28/06/2022 17:52

Is your friend jealous of your progress? Well done on the weight loss

pastabest · 28/06/2022 17:54

It's perfect. It gives your body the chance to adjust to each small loss rather than trying to pile it all back on again.

It's a really sustainable way to lose weight and you have a far better chance of keeping it off afterwards too.

I would be really chuffed if I lost 2 stone in the same amount of time!

Roussette · 28/06/2022 17:54

Keep going!

I lost 3 stone in 9 months and of my, I feel so much better for it.

I varied between 1 and 2 lbs a week. Hard work but so so so worth it.

MrsPicklePie · 28/06/2022 17:54

I don't think she's jealous, no. She just said it seemed to be taking me ages!

And it does feel like a long time - mainly because this time I've done it the old fashioned way. Diet and exercise basically.

Jmaho · 28/06/2022 17:55

Just imagine if you hadn't done anything at all. We'd still be 14 weeks down the road but you'd be two stone heavier!
But anyway 2 stones in 14 weeks is really really good going. Well done!

MrsPicklePie · 28/06/2022 17:58

@Jmaho this is it, yes. The time goes by regardless and I'd just had enough of being 3 stone overweight

ehb102 · 28/06/2022 17:59

I've never managed a better rate of healthy weight loss. Well done!

Sounds like you have a frenemy btw

JonSnowedUnder · 28/06/2022 18:02

Surely consistent weight loss is the goal. Your approach is obviously working for you so don't let her derail you.

If you'd asked yourself 3 months ago would you be happy losing 2 stone what would you say?

Bunce1 · 28/06/2022 18:04

Your mate sounds like a bit of a sick TBH

Bunce1 · 28/06/2022 18:04

*dick

Daysofroses · 28/06/2022 18:13

I think that's fantastic OP!! Well done. I'd be thrilled if I can say that in 14 weeks.

mdinbc · 28/06/2022 18:16

I think you're doing great! It sounds like a healthy rate to lose weight. Carry on and I hope you reach your goal.

IfYouOnlyKnew · 28/06/2022 18:23

You’ve done brilliantly! Sounds like you have done it in a healthy and sustainable way as well, which means it’ll stay off. Keep going, well done!

LadyEloise1 · 28/06/2022 18:24

It's fantastic @MrsPicklePie Flowers
How did you do it ?

gingersplodgecat · 28/06/2022 18:28

Littlebirdyouaresosweet · 28/06/2022 18:29

EarringsandLipstick · 28/06/2022 18:30

You're amazing OP 💪

MrsVeryTired · 28/06/2022 18:31

Agree that's "frenemy" territory
Well done, to make yourself more aware find something that's 2 stone and lift it, its a serious amount!
