We've just picked up our new kittens!

We've just picked up our two new kittens. We've named them Polly and Daisy. They just look so tiny! They're 11 weeks.

I totally gutted the house (it's baby proofed anyway due to DD) moved any wires and they've found a comfy spot together under the sofa where they currently are asleep.

I've got 3 litter boxes, 2 downstairs and 1 upstairs. Set out their food bowls each and water.

Does anyone have any tips? We thought long and hard about pets and we finally felt ready. They're sisters and I didn't want to separate them. We got them from a local adoption centre and they came together so we took them together.

If anyone has any words of wisdom or tips please let me know! They are so adorable.

When we go to bed do we just leave them be? I have bought cat beds but didn't know where to put them. Any tips please thank you!

Lol at what do we do with them at night. That's when they come out and romp up and down the hall. Pray they don't so you can get some sleep.

@frankie001 hahahahha I love that!

@ladydimitrescu they look identical!! I just love black and white cats.

Mine are good, one is totally batshit and literally will. Not. Stop. (Daisy) and Polly is really chilled. It's so lovely to see their little personalities come out. They chase each other everywhere. DD has a ball pit in the lounge with hundreds of balls in and they both jump and dive in. They're so funny to watch! Daisy (the hyper one) tried to make a break for it yesterday when signing for a delivery which took me by surprise!

We hear them lap around the house at night. They haven't woken us up yet but anyday now! Grin

There is literally nothing in the world cuter than a kitten!
Thanks for photos, OP (that's why I clicked!) and enjoy the many coming years of cat ownership.

Oh they are gorgeous. I think the one thing that surprised me was when I fostered a family of kittens (6) and had thought they were very well behaved.

One day I pulled the curtains across the window during the daytime and there was evidence of their parkour activity - millions of kitten claw holes ! 😂 They were lucky they were cute - (and I hated those curtains)

So the moral of the story is their damage may take some time to discover. My mature lady (10) still does zoomies every now and again - and bounces on our heads if we dont move quickly enough.

Oh god, this makes me want more baby cats💔😭we got two siblings 7 years ago, a boy and a girl. Lost them both in the last couple of years, breaks my heart.

Totally outing but this is one of my favourite photos ever. My babies😢

From when I had two kittens years ago. Assign them a place to sleep (I shut mine in the living room, door closed at night!).

When you do let them out (4-5 months old) keep a bit of a watch out.

They will probably both hunt together (yippee!).

Be warned - they sometimes don't get along!

My current cat moved in with me (spoke to her owners and they said it was fine as they bought a dog afterwards and their son got bored of kittens) and she has a sister whom I've only seen when they both sort of lived together. Two people including ex owners have said the sister was always 'a bit feral'. Her sister certainly isn't, mine!

@Sillystripytail they're so sweet! I'm sorry for your loss

Awwwww - she's gorgeous!

Keep them on your own property - make sure your property is secure before you let them use a cat flap.

Don't know if it's been mentioned, but whatever you do, don't play with them using hands or feet. A fishing rid toy is better.

@Clarich007 These kittens are about a year old now.
