Omg my money!!

about an hour ago I transfered £6,000 from one account to another. Got a text to verify I made the transfer replied back with Y and got text to say transfer successful. However still not showing on account? Although it has been deducted from the account I sent.

I called bank I transfered from and he said it has been released and to wait till midnight.

i’m so worried. Has this happened to anyone else?

omg i called them and she said well its send to bla bla account and i was like I don’t have another account! Turns out i somehow sent it to unused account I totally forgot I had!!! Resent it to correct account! Phewww. Jeez . Have more to send but I think I will just wait for a few days.

But how did this happen when you'd sent a trial £10 that arrived safely?

@OceanAtTheEnd so I went back to the accounts I have saved and the other account was first on the list and I must have just assumed that was the other account. Normally my other account is first on the list.

We did this with our house deposit.
We can laugh about it now but it was so stressful at the time.

@Theimpossiblegirl I might laugh about in a few days time but still traumatised 🤣 I was thinking what other account. Totally forgot other account existed

I’ve transferred 55k in 3 separate amounts this week including Thurs & Fri & Today from HSBC to TSB and each amount has hit the other account straight away
