Looking for motivation, what's everyone up to today?

This morning DH is prepping water damaged areas in bedroom this morning before we paint. I'm doing ironing. Filtered coffee (a treat here) and nice xmas biscuits we've just opened.

Not sure what else I fancy doing. DH would like to see others, but our friends are all busy/away. Pondering whether to go from a walk from home with leftover quiche, coucous and salad - luckily we have lots of walks locally.

Morning! I'm still pondering. Just had breakfast (yogurt and fruit). Have got lots of jobs to do around the house before a load of visitors descend next week but might go to the cinema and then do some grocery shopping.

At 12 I have my sister and nephew arriving and then my niece and her mum(brother's ex). Hopefully my mum and nan will be coming over too. We don't see niece very often and it's her birthday next week so we are having a little birthday party with just the cousins. I have to start moving myself though and doing the pre guests housework.

volunteering, breakfast, work, lunch, work, cycle to work with teen DS, work?, prep tea, drive young DS to a sport event, chips?, flop

I'm going into town with DD then home for a roast dinner

I'm making a recipe so we can photograph it for my dd's school magazine (she is editor and designer). I used to do this as my job so nice to be able to style it make it look yummy! Of course had a delivery of the ingredients last night and realised missed one out so off to the shops at some point!
That and walking the dogs will be the highlight of the day so pretty low key. My dd is also revising for mocks and my son is working (doesn't live here but I like to know what he's up to as he's 18 and struggling a bit).
Sun is shining which is always a mood booster!

I'm on holiday and it's our last day so I'm debating going on a walk on my own before everyone wakes up. Maybe along the coast, maybe past a bakery...

Not doing a lot this morning as I am recovering from surgery and we have a busy weekend.

Will watch the service on tv this morning.

DSSs are at camp so it's just DH and I off to a red white and blue themed birthday party late afternoon.

Starting the day with a run with dog and eldest dc (who can outpace me easily). Then seeing a client. Afternoon i'll be sunbathing if the weather stays like this!

Morning all. Just had cup of tea then going to feed friend's cats and rabbits with DD2. I'd really like to go out for breakfast after that! We're going to a nice park later for a picnic/play then walking into town for a bit of shopping and an ice cream then home. It's hard to know what to do with a 13 y/o and she was moaning yesterday that I hadn't arranged anything fun over half term (not strictly but she's too old for alot of things) so hopefully this will be'fun' for her

We had heavy storms last night so I've just gone round and emptied out all the trays that had plants sitting in water. And waiting for the OH to find out the extent of the power cut before we decide where to drive to to get breakfast as I'm dying for a coffee.

Then I'm going to plant out the last stragglers of the verbascum and sunflowers. While the ground is wet.

And then tidy up and mulch my polytunnel.

Then when the power comes back on, make pizza dough for tea.

Going to do a quick clean of the house this morning then go to the zoo for a bit after lunch. We have membership so we can just do a couple of hours.

Right now drinking coffee (and will be for a while 😁) then food shopping, dog walk and possibly the gym later

Just having a second cuppa and will then get dressed and take the dog out around the field. Then I need to go to the supermarket. We have friends over for a bbq this evening. So shopping, tidying the house, putting lots of washing away and doing some more and some food prep. Also need to help DH tidy the patio a bit. We had a lot of work done in the garden and extended the patio over the last few weeks so there is a lot to be done. It won’t all get done today though. Just want it looking a bit tidier. We washed down some of it and some garden furniture yesterday.

Having a slow start. Influx of tourists where we are so roads incredibly busy. Thinking of not doing very much but might go out and catch a band in a pub this evening. Chance to garden etc but wondering if should plan something more fun.

Dd2 broke her arm yesterday 😬so busy rethinking plans. Any suggestions to entertain a gymnastics, outdoorsy loving 6 year old????

Plans changed - now in bed with a fever and feeling pretty rotten.

Working my last day before having 7+ months of maternity leave!! Head's not in it😅. I haven't been off this long since I started school.

Facing in to a week of holidays with DH and DC1, we have no plans whatsoever. Life is good!!

a bit of housework. Maybe a walk to the local park.

Really nothing of note.

Beach in about half an hour, it's lovely weather so the kids and I (and dog!) will all have a swim. Then I have to revise for some exams so I'll be doing that, DC can have some screen time. My folks are arriving late afternoon en route to Scotland so we are taking them out to a Mexican restaurant tonight. There's a street party at the top of our road with bouncy castles etc so I think we'll head up there for a while as well.

taking the younger ones to a fete and entering the dogs into a "fun"dog show. Dh, ds1 &3 are sailing & dd is staying in with a sitter. This evening we should be having a barbecue

We've got family over for a barbecue this afternoon so food shopping, tidying and prepping this morning.
Dh is working until 2, folks arriving at 3, including my 3 year old twin (great) niece and nephew - it will be nice to have little ones around.

Going for a very long walk in a beautiful place with DH, about 15 miles. Not expecting to see many people for several hours. Bliss.
