Let’s get back to Andrew though..... if Charlotte has caught it, I doubt it’s from Andrew, they would surely have the sense not to let him near young Charlotte.

Welllllll I saw him at 8 pm last night driving up the Long Walk to his house. (He does this most days) so if he did test positive it would have been really recent. He always has a bodyguard in the passenger seat but drives himself.

I think it's genuine.

If he hadn't wanted to go, the Palace could have issued a statement saying he wouldn't be attending because he didn't want to distract attention from the Queen (or words to that effect) and that would probably have gone down quite well in a 'at least he's doing the decent thing for once' sort of way.

Hang on a minute, what evidence is there that Prince Andrew knew Virginia Giuffre was being trafficked at the time he had sex with her. There is no question she was trafficked, but who knew she was at the time?

My understanding is PA had sex with her when she was 17, awful yes but not illegal in this country and many men have done the same. It is likely he was delusional about how attractive he was to her, but I have never read anything that suggested at the time a) he knew her real age and b) he knew she was trafficked c) he paid her for sex d) he knew Jeffrey Epstein paid her to have sex. Happy to be corrected.

If, when the allegations first surfaced, he had admitted it and apologised there would have been no court case. It was trying to lie his way out of it that led to the settlement.

I am not defending PA, but the allegations he is a nonce, coerced/trafficked VG etc. need some evidence.

Of course he didn’t know. Nor did he think it odd when there were lots of teenage girls hanging around offering massages / being offered as masseuses during all the other times he visited Epstein in NY and in his other houses, flew in his private jet, ate out with him etc etc etc . I expect he assumed that that is what happens when you are a wealthy financial advisor, lots of teenage girls just flock to you for advice on how to invest their pocket money and the money they are earning giving massages to middle aged married men with children at home nearly the same age……….

She's only recently got over it so probably still has some immunity, in addition to her vaccines.

I honestly believe Andrew ( or the Royal family) were advised for him not to attend. I think Charles probably think he’s caused too much trouble for the family and maybe had some influence….

So someone made the decision for Andrew to have covid for the Queens platinum jubilee.

It seems to me an obvious cover story and I doubt he has it.
